- Rafiq Ghaznavi was born in 1907 in Rawalpindi, Punjab, British India. He was a composer and actor, known for Wah Rahe Zamane (1958), Zeenat (1945) and Laila Majnu (1945). He was married to Anwari. He died on March 2, 1974 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Next, he joined Radio Pakistan and dedicated himself whole-heartedly to the cause of Radio Programs as a music director.
