- Daisy Gerber was born on June 3, 1937. She was an assistant director and production manager, known for Annie Hall (1977), What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? (1969) and Scissors (1991). She died on April 3, 2022 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Raised in Hungary, and attended UCLA's Film School in Los Angeles, where she was the only female film major. Later in the mid-1960s, Gerber was also the only woman among the 3,000 people applying to the Directors Guild training program. She was accepted and was the first woman to graduate from that program.
