- She became established as a stage actress in the next years and finally she also took part in first silent movies.
- Her trip to the film business was short-lived at first - after her appearances in "Der Todesritt auf dem Riesenrad" (1915) she concentrated again to the theater.
- The actress Camilla Gerzhofer already joined the theater at the age of 6 when she made her stage debut in 1894. She soon became a well-known child actress and in 1895 she got a contract at the theater.
- She only returned in front of the camera in the sound film era of the 30s and she impersonated support roles in well-known productions.
- Her last cinematical works came during World War II into being, among them Hans Steinhoff's "Die Geierwally" (1940), and "Frauen sind keine Engel" (1943) directed by Willi Forst with Curd Jurgens.
