Dark-haired leading lady of silent cinema who started on stage as a dancer and violinist. She moved to Hollywood in 1926, where her chief claim to fame was being leading lady to Rin Tin Tin. In 1928, she became a WAMPAS Baby Star and was eventually signed by Warner Brothers. Her career declined with the advent of sound and she drifted into obscurity. So much so, that her death in 1990 went unreported for eight years.
