- Mohamad Ali Fardin was born in 1930 in Tehran, Iran. He was an actor and director, known for The Story of Night (1973), King of the Hearts (1968) and Hatam Taee (1966). He died on April 6, 2000 in Tehran, Iran.
- Fardin was a former wrestling champion, winning the silver medal at the 1952 world freestyle wrestling championships in Tokyo.
