In order to attend Nevada’s Life Is Beautiful festival in Nevada over the weekend, Insomniac CEO and founder Pasquale Rotella left Bassnectar in charge of his Night Owl Radio show for a special guest mix. Throughout the episode, Bassnectar, real name Lorin Ashton, delivers a mix that focuses almost entirely on his own productions and remixes, making for a personalized listening experience.
Bassnectar kicks his Night Owl mix off in style with his dubstep classic “Bass Head” before moving on with a number of other well known tracks, both old and new. Ashton also treats us to some unreleased material in the form of an upcoming collaboration with ATLiens dubbed “Interlock,” while the long haired DJ also reveals in the episode that he and G Jones have an upcoming collaborative Ep in the works.
