- It could be said that David was born into the film world as his father David founded the Odeon Cinemas. After the war David became assistant editor at Gainsborough. In 54 he was personal assistant to Sydney Box and the following year was associate producer on the films 'The One That got Away' and 'Floods of Fear'.
