With some of the best episodes of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia under his belt (Mac Day, The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre), director Richie Keen is making the jump to the big screen with Fist Fight, teaming up once again with Charlie Day for a crude, high concept comedy about two teachers who plan to fight each other at the end of the school day. But even with some serious comedy muscle behind it, Fist Fight collapse under the weight of lazy storytelling and humour that is more miss than hit. It’s the last day of school at Roosevelt High School, and the teachers are at the mercy of the students who are running wild with increasingly chaotic pranks. While mild mannered English teacher Mr. Campbell (Day) is just trying to get through the day, hard ass history teacher Mr. Strickland (Ice Cube) intimates his students into behaving.

Back in the Game, Season 1, Episode 2, “Stay In or Bail Out”
Directed by Eric Appel
Written by Warren Lieberstein
Airs Wednesdays at 8:30pm Est on ABC
Following its awkward pilot last week, Back in the Game continues to struggle with establishing the format of the show. Although “Stay In or Bail Out” successfully moves the characters forward, it fails to show the audience how the show will operate each week. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it just means the audience can’t fully decide whether the show is worth investing time in yet.
Back in the Game has a very interesting premise, and with two polar opposites working together, the show should provide some laughs, but at the moment this is something it’s failing to do. Although the show appears to be about kids playing baseball, Back in the Game actually focuses on a strong female...

Finally, after years of knowing that Mac has a bit of an interest in dudes, the characters on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia address it. I wrote in one of my reviews last year that I wouldn’t be surprised if we got an episode titled something along the lines of Mac Bangs A Dude, and sure enough, we got just about the closest thing with this week’s episode Mac Day.
The Gang has decided to have days celebrating each member. Basically, for 24 hours straight, they have to do whatever the chosen person wants — no complaining, no questioning it. This specific day is Mac day, so the rest of the Gang is subjected to 24 hours of Mac’s badass Bible-based activities. In addition to bringing Dennis, Dee, Charlie and Frank along for the ride, Mac invites his cousin, Country Mac, to tag along. It turns out that despite...

Tori Spelling‘s ABC Family pilot Mystery Girls might turn into a 90210 reunion as TVLine reports that Jennie Garth is likely to be cast as Spelling’s co-star. Since Mystery Girls is about the two stars of a cancelled mystery drama who find themselves solving real crimes. I think this calls for 90210 fanfic about how Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor open a detective agency.
Sorry Camp fans, you’ll have to spend next summer someplace else. NBC has cancelled the summer dramedy.
I know some of you will miss Camp‘s gay dads.
Switched at Birth‘s Katie Leclerc will get to further show off her comedy chops when she makes a guest appearance on Community as a woman who teaches Abed sign language.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Max Greenfield explained that how New Girl got footage showing cats’ odd attraction to Schmidt. “You know when...

Things certainly are changing for Epic Mickey 2. The inclusion of voice overs, a supposedly revamped camera and even musical segments? It’s enough for an old Disney lover like me to cry pure nostalgia. Luckily, something else changing is the amount of consoles the game is coming to.
The first game was only available on the Wii. The second, coming out later this year, will be made available for Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, a blast-from-the-past 3Ds version, and confirmed by gaming industry legend Warren Spector himself at Comic Con this week, a version will also be heading to PC and Mac day and date as the other platforms.
Which means you literally have no excuse to not pick up a sequel to one of 2010′s greatest games. Unless of course you only own a Vita. Then you’re outta luck. Sorry.
