Edward Cupero was born on 15 February 1878 in Alife, Provincia di Caserta, Campania, Italy. He was a composer. He died on 10 September 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Bonaventura Cupero was a composer, arranger and cornet player best known for his march "Honey Boys on Parade" written for the band of George 'Honey Boy' Evans. On arrival in the United States with his father in 1891 he changed his name to Edward Victor Cupero. He directed several minstrel shows in the States and organized two brass bands, later briefly joining the staff of MGM.
