Alicia Conway was born and raised in Kettering, Ohio. She earned her
B.A. in Film Production from the University of Central Florida in
Orlando, and then relocated to Los Angeles in 1999.
Alicia began her professional career working in film festivals, first
at Florida Film Festival, then at Los Angeles Independent Film
Festival, and finally at USC's First Look student festival. She next
worked as a producer, director and writer for documentary-style
television, and her credits include shows for Fox, F/X, TLC, Fine
Living, Paramount, and HGTV.
She wrote and directed the short film Rite, which was an official
selection of Sundance 2009. Rite was her debut film.
Alicia has produced a number of award-winning short films, including
Conversations and Hate or Date, and she also directs theatre.
