Rita Clermont was born on March 4, 1894 in Regensburg, Germany. She was an actress, known for Der Todesbote (1920), Tanz der Leidenschaft (1922) and Dolores (1922). She was married to Kurt Hetschingk. She died on December 6, 1969 in Munich, Germany.
She studied in Munich and afterwards got an engagement to the Stadttheater Nuremberg. She came to Berlin via Bremen where she joined the film business already in the 10's when the film was still in its infancy.
As it was usual at this time, Rita Clermont also transformed into teenagers and girls in order to impersonate child parts in movies and at the theater.
