- She used to earn money busking in the street playing the violin.
- She sang on Eurotrash.
- Her great grandad built one of the first cinemas in England in Cornwall· (It's a garage now but it does have a plaque on the wall marking its significance).
- Emily is also very popular on the fan convention scene attending a few each year, she is known for her friendly down to earth approach with her fans whom some have become friends.
- Emily had her second child Finley Turing Booth Walters in 2014, his interesting second name Turing named after the tragic yet brilliant Alan Turing born on the same day in the same town! June 23rd.
- She used to be an avid animal rights campaigner.
