Richard Blade was a very successful and well-known disc jockey in Los Angeles for many years and, back in the 80s, hosted a television show called "The Rock 'N' Roll Evening News.".
Hosted the Los Angeles-based music video/dance show 'MV3' in 1983 along
with David Maples and Karen Scott.
In June of 2021, it was announced that Richard Blade will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of 'the class of 2022'.
In 2017, Richard had his first book published, his autobiography, "World In My Eyes." Since then, he has had three novels published, "SPQR", "Birthright" and "Imposters.".
Returned to Los Angeles after optioning a screenplay. He
sold a reality series "You're In The MoviE!" to E!, Entertainment
television (with producing partners Foglight Entertainment). He
optioned a series deal to the Gurin Company for "20,000 Miles" - a
reality-based music show, and recently inked a deal with MTV Networks
to write and produce a series for VH1. (July 2003)
Was a radio host on 106.7 KROQ in the Los Angeles area in the 1990's.
In 2017, Richard's autobiography "World In My Eyes" was published and became a national best seller. Since then he has written three more books - novels - "SPQR," "Brirthright" and "Imposters".
