Writer-producer Peter Bandera, join his Brother, Fernando, to form Bandera Brothers Entertainment and since then he amassed a diverse award-winning body of work in areas such as experimental and mainstream films, television, and music. With his background as talent manager at The Sterling/Winters Company, he brings additional expertise and contacts in the area of talent relations.
In 2013, Peters work was nominated for a Grammy for the production of three long form music videos for Esperanza Spaldings "Radio Music Society".
Film credits include, the short "Overkill" which he also co-wrote, "Diplomatic Siege" with Daryl Hannah, Tom Berenger y Peter Weller, which premiered on HBO. "Johnny 100 Pesos", premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and awarded best picture at the Mystfest Film Festival (Italy), "Ciro Norte" starring Nastassja Kinski, awarded best experimental film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and at the Santiago Film Festival. This film was inducted as part of the permanent art-film collection at MoMA, and an Official Selection in more than 15 international film festivals. "Vermouth y Noche", a film documenting the rock group, Los Tres. "Amigos", premiered and the Havana Film Festival in Cuba.
TV credits include, MTVs "Trippin, executive produced and hosted by Cameron Diaz, with Drew Barrymore. Also, "Concierto Por La Vida", the first AIDS benefit for the Hispanic community, with 24 prominent Latin artists, which aired on the USA Networks Latin America network in 22 countries.
Peter has produced numerous commericial campaigns including Ripley Department Stores with Cindy Crawford, Penelope Cruz and Leonor Varela.
His first music video for Argentine rocker Miguel Mateos was nominated for Best Video of the Year by Billboard and MTV and he produced several concerts including the first concerts by Carlos Santana in Chile and Peru.
Peter was born in Chile, raised in New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
