Coronation Street's new recruit Chris Fountain has admitted that he is keen for his character Tommy Duckworth to get a warm response from fans. The former Hollyoaks actor was cast in the role of Tommy late last year and will appear on the ITV1 soap for the first time next Monday. Tommy - grandson of the late Jack and Vera and son of Terry - was last seen on screen in 2000 with child actor Joseph Aston in the part.
