EastEnders' live episode director Clive Arnold has revealed that the soap's team faced many challenges when planning the special instalment. Speaking in an interview with Digital Spy, Arnold explained that most of the problems stemmed from the aim to keep the 25th anniversary edition as story-driven as possible. The director of EastEnders' forthcoming live episode has revealed that he is "praying" for good weather on the night. In an interview with Digital Spy, Clive Arnold confirmed that the soap's team will face continuity problems if it is raining at the start of tomorrow's 25th anniversary broadcast.
