- The wife of Leonid Alekseevich, artist Nadezhda Mikhailovna Privalova, worked with her husband on many of his animated films.
- Leonid Amalrik was buried at the Pyatnitsky cemetery in Moscow.
- In the animated film Black and White (1932) Almarik was first mentioned in the credits as a director and artist (along with I. Ivanov-Vano).
