Sheldon Allman was born on June 8, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor and composer, known for George of the Jungle (1997), Bio-Dome (1996) and Monster Mash: The Movie (1995). He was married to Lorraine Snedden Wilms. He died on January 22, 2002 in Culver City, California, USA.
He was the singing voice for TV's Mister Ed (1961), for which he also wrote and
recorded "The Pretty Little Filly with the Ponytail" and "The Empty
Feedbag Blues".
Best known as co-composer of cartoon theme songs for _"George Of The Jungle" (1967)_,
"Superchicken" and "Tom Slick".
Much sought after character actor who appeared in over 150 film and TV
roles.
Graduated from the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music.
