Madrid -- Serbian filmmaker Goran Paskaljevic will head the official jury for the Golden Shell at the 58th San Sebastian International Film Festival, organizers announced Friday.
Oscar-nominated make-up artist Jo Allen, Spanish actor Jose Coronado, Peruvian director Claudia Llosa, Philippine director Raya Martin, Argentine director/producer Pablo Trapero and British director Lucy Walker will comprise the rest of the jury.
Walker's documentary "Countdown to Zero," a exploration of the dangers of nuclear weapons, will screen in the Zabaltegi-Specials sidebar.
San Sebastian runs in Spain's northern Basque region Sept. 17-26.

The second annual Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Symposium went off without a hair out of place Saturday afternoon as it showcased the work of all six of this year's Oscar nominees, two of whom flew in from Europe to participate. Master transformers Jo Allen and Manuel Garcia represented the Spanish film The Sea Inside, while Bill Corso and Valli O'Reilly explained their work on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Keith Vanderlaan and Christien Tinsley revealed their contributions to The Passion of the Christ. The overflow crowd, fed chocolates and champagne and treated to detailed exhibit tables, was hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and The Hollywood Museum at the Historic Max Factor Building in Hollywood.
