- After graduating from Yale with a degree in philosophy, Los Angeles native Marilee began her career in Europe, as Francis Coppola's philosophy tutor. She then worked as a development director for the RAI III. Back in LA, Marilee started her career as a writer in commercials, writing treatments for such directors as Craig Gillespie and Marcus Nispel, among many others.
Marilee is the founder of One Village Green, a nonprofit that promotes mental health in American kids through content creation, lobbying and grants. Her first novel, The Tutor, was published by Rare Bird Books in the fall of 2019.
