The guitarist of an American rock band whose tour bus plunged down a viaduct has described the incident in graphic detail, blaming a brake failure for the crash.
Baroness band member John Baizley was on board the German-registered coach when it crashed through a safety barrier in torrential rain and fell 30ft on August 15.

Baroness has released more details about its bus crash earlier this week. So far, the injury report is pretty bleak: Frontman John Baizley broke his left arm and leg, while drummer Allen Bickle and bassist Matt Maggioni each have fractured vertebrae. All three remain in the hospital. Meanwhile, a crew member is still undergoing testing and the driver of the bus is in critical condition. Pete Adams, the band’s guitarist, has already been treated released from the hospital along with three other crew members.
