- Brian Joseph Palermo was born in New Orleans in 1966. He attended St. Clement of Rome School and Archbishop Rummel High School, both in nearby Metairie, Louisiana. He became interested in theatre arts at the University of New Orleans, where he earned a B.A. in Drama and Communications. He moved to Los Angeles after graduation and began taking classes and performing with many improvisational comedy groups in town including L.A. TheatreSports. Palermo was invited to become a member of the world famous Groundlings comedy theatre and has performed and taught sketch and improv comedy there. He has worked in the entertainment industry consistently since then. He was a tour guide at Universal Studios, worked in many capacities at Wheel of Fortune (1983), wrote and produced television/radio promotional commercials, and made cartoons for Warner Brothers and Disney. - Performed with Eddie Izzard in all of his (Eddie's) "One Word Improv" show in Los Angeles throughout 2007 and 2008.
- Brian teaches improv technique for Groundlings and has coached improv teams at the University of Southern California.
- Brian played both Darren Borgne and Aaron Kent in the hit stage show "Beverly Winwood Presents The Actors' Showcase." This show was produced by Tony Sepulveda and Alison Kingsley and featured many Groundlings alumni such as Jennifer Coolidge, Paul Reubens and Lynne Stewart.
