In 1997 he recorded an album with remixed James Bond themes called 'Shaken & Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project'. He got some help from Pulp, Aimee Mann, the Propellerheads, Iggy Pop and others.

(1993) allotted him only enough money to produce the score electronically. He spent £2000 of his own money to secure a small orchestra for six hours, and was able to orchestrate the entire score for the film in that time.
