The first time I ever won a prize for art was in school. I must have been nine or ten. We had gone to the zoo and we came back and I was supposed to draw an animal from memory, and I cheated. I had a book in my lap with a picture of a bear, so I drew this really good picture of a bear and I got a box of crayons as my reward. So my art career began by cheating, which I think I've done ever since. See more »
