She abandons her chores (leaving them to Jessica), she blows off her schoolwork, breaks up with Todd and starts hanging out with BRUCE PATMAN. No one can figure her out. Todd is enraged and starts a fight with Bruce. During the scuffle, Jessica gets pushed into the path of an oncoming car. Luckily, she escapes injury, but seeing her sister in mortal danger reminds Elizabeth how precious life and loved ones can be.

The paraplegic Turner also wants to reconcile his lost relationship with the Australian lifeguard Megan whom be pushed away along with everyone else that tried to comfort him over his disability.

Meanwhile, Eddie decides to visit his long-lost, schizophrenic, older half-brother, Bobby, at a half-way house to clear up the past with him and invites him to the beach, where the unbalanced Bobby constantly gets into trouble.
