HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS SEASON 4 RATINGS
The most entertaining season thus far
The stories were really entertaining and more intentionally campy than ever. Unfortunately Kevin Sorbo had serious health issues during the making of s.4, so he wasn't around as much as in the previous ones, but when he was his acting was better than ever (he was particularly good as Herc's sinister doppelganger, the Sovereign). We got more appearances from K.Smith's Ares (which always awesome) and finally not only they gave a face to Hera, but they hired the perfect actress for her, Meg Foster (unfortunately she only appeared in the finale, but it was still glorious). Speaking about the three-part finale, Roy Dotrice's Zeus is the best incarnation of the character in the universe. The one and only Bruce Campbell had more appearances here than any other season of the Xenaverse. The humour skyrocketed in s.4 (especially in the hilarious "Yes, Virginia, There Is a Hercules")
Overall rating: 8.7/10
