Ximena Lamadrid is a Mexican actress and writer. Originally from Cancún, Mexico, Ximena grew up in Dubai, UAE. Melissa Barrera Martinez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León México. The first of four daughters of Rosana Maria Martinez García and Tomás Gerardo Barrera Tames. She attended the American School Foundation of Monterrey from the ages of 4 to 18 when she graduated high school. It was during her middle school years that she began getting involved in theater. She participated in school plays and musicals such as 'The Wizard of Oz,' 'Footloose,' 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and 'Aida.' Actress Gabriela De la Garza was born in Mexico City to musician parents Sergio De la Garza, a pianist, and Carmen Tames Mejía, an organist. Her grandfather is the legendary Manuel Tames "Régulo" - one of the most influential actors of Mexico's Golden Film Era. One could say that her artistic sensibilities were passed down to her, however Gabriela quickly distinguished herself as a versatile and well-rounded artist.
Raised in both Mexico City and Guadalajara, Gabriela began cultivating her skills at a very early age. By the age of five she was excelling at both the piano and organ through the Yamaha Music School in Mexico City - participating in various concerts in such venues as the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Centre and the world renowned Mexico City Theatre. By 12 Gabriela was studying contemporary dance at the prestigious Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
She quickly transitioned to commercials and modeling jobs, working for such reputable firms as Ford Models in New York, Francina in Barcelona, Team Models in Japan and various other international agencies. Gabriela then turned her focus to television, becoming the host for then popular music show "Ya TV" produced by HBO and Warner Music. On the television side, Gabriela has had multiple series regular roles in projects like Jennifer Lopez "Como Ama Una Mujer", the hit show "Bienes Raíces" and the hugely popular "Las Aparicio". In the latter, she played "Alma Aparicio" which earned her a Best Actress honor at the 2010 International TV - Fiction Festival in Argentina and made her one of Latin America's top leading ladies. Gabriela was invited to join the last season of the Emmy nominated "Capadocia" for HBO Latino as the new lead "Italia" who infiltrates the women's prison. She also participated as one of the new regulars for Mundo Fox's popular "Lynch" series. In 2015, Gabriela participated in Neflix's series "Narcos" opposite Wagner Moura, where she plays "Diana Turbay" - one of Colombia's most respected journalists of that time. She plays the controversial Ximena in "Monarca", produced by Salma Hayek and Lemon Films for Netflix, stars "Amarres" (Love Spells), the first Mexican Max Original production for HBO Max and most recently plays "Daniela", the daughter of Jean Reno's character in world wide successful series "Who Killed Sara?" for Netflix.
Gabriela has also produced and starred in several plays including "A Perfect Couple" (Una Pareja Perfecta) and "Las Analfabetas", directed by the award winner Paulina García. She had a starring role in the Mexico City theater production of Nora Ephron's play "Love, Loss and What I Wore". She was the lead role of "Helena" in Anton Chekhov's play "Uncle Vanya", "Gina" in the internationally awarded "Entre Pancho Villa y una mujer desnuda" written by Sabina Berman, and she is currently performing in "Dos Locas de Remate" with sold outs every weekend at the prestigious Teatro Libanés. Born in Mexico City, Fernanda Romero started her career participating in the sensational youth group Fryzzby (BMG). After walking away from music to study Fashion Design, Fernanda knew her destiny was always to be in front of the camera. Fernanda was spotted by a modeling agency after she was photographed in her own denim line for a marketing campaign. Almost immediately she was used to advertise big commercial brands such as Levi's, Ray-Ban, and Clean and clear to name a few.
More opportunities lead Fernanda to transition from commercial advertisement to TV with networks such as Univision, Telemundo, TV Azteca and NBC all vying for her to appear in popular television soap operas.
Soon enough, Fernanda's positive performances attracted the calling of the big screen where she starred alongside Hollywood favorites Jessica Alba in the 2008 feature film the Eye; and Charlize Theron in The Burning Plain directed by Guillermo Arrriaga. More success followed in the form of Drag me to hell, under the direction of Sam Rami; which proved a gateway for roles in comedies such as Without Men with Eva Longoria and Christian Slater.
