Actor's Age Range 20-27 - Notlim Taylor was born in Tarzana, California by emergency Caesarean; when she was born her right leg kicked out first instead of her head. Her parents, Sha and Twain Taylor, could not decide on a name until the clever mom remembered watching "Oprah Winfrey" episodes and noting that the production read "Harpo," which spelled backwards is "Oprah"! Just one look at her new baby girl and the proud mom named her Notlim--after her biological father Milton.
Notlim's father always had an interest in acting and photography, so from the time she was born, a camera was in her face following and capturing her every move. Around age 4, she began doing local still photography for small catalogue companies. A few years later, Notlim and her younger brother TJ asked their parents if they could show them a commercial skit they came up with which was really good, so their dad took them to his talent agency, which they joined the following week. When Notlim got her first audition, she booked it: a Disney Production! Soon after, she would book several commercials, but the one that stood out for her was Disney's "My Princess Makeover"! Boarding a plane to shoot a family commercial for Disney's Aulani Hotel in Hawaii, Notlim surprisingly made a friend of a fan who recited word-for-word her previous Disney jobs.
Notlim went on to book several national commercials, and television shows like Nickelodeon's "Instant Mom"; Kevin Hart's "The Real Husbands of Hollywood" where she played Kevin's adopted daughter Lola from a Bel-Air foster home; ABC's "Blackish" where she played Anthony Anderson's hood cousin; and the American Girl movie "Grace Stirs Up Success" as Ella. She can currently be seen on a National Kellogg's Commercial with a Raisin Brand bike-a-thon.
In NBC's sitcom "Marlon" starring Marlon Wayans and Essence Atkins, Notlim stars as Marley, a 14-year-old bookworm with a 4.0 GPA, an honor student in her private school. Marley is extremely educated and mature, and she juggles much responsibility between dealing with her parents' divorce, helping to raise her little brother Zack, and tending to her schoolwork. Notlim's set life family characters are identical to her real-life family: her mom is conservative, her dad is endlessly funny, her brother has charismatic charm, and she is a mature 4.0 student loved by all. - Actress
