Cinema's Poetry
Can cinema be poetry?
Looking at the distant foggy sunrise at dawn, we don’t ask for it’s meaning, we enjoy the beauty, we feel it. The same goes with these films. Of course, not saying these films don’t have any meaning, not that. Rather the ‘meaning’ of these films is deeply hidden… which requires the viewer's imagination, compassion & openness to new experiences. I haven't found anyone who ‘got’ the movies at first viewing!
Beauty of any great art is that they change meaning with every viewing - with audiences' experiences of life… so do these films.
You will get the best cinematic experiences of your life if you let go of typical blockbuster films & have the courage to explore the deep sea of artistic gems.
These films may inspire us to embrace & feel our life fully.
Probably motivate us to explore the universe within ourselves!
