- DirectorLewis GilbertStarsRoger MooreBarbara BachCurd JürgensJames Bond investigates the hijacking of British and Russian submarines carrying nuclear warheads, with the help of a K.G.B. agent whose lover he killed.Majority of Moore's Bonds were average at best, but with "The Spy Who Loved Me" Moore shined with his brightest glow yet. It's interesting story line, epic stunts and beautiful locations propelled it to be my favorite movie in the whole series, closely ahead of "Casino Royale".
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsDaniel CraigEva GreenJudi DenchAfter earning 00 status and a licence to kill, secret agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. Bond must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, Montenegro. This is (almost) zenit of the complete James Bond frenchise, nearly 50 years after it's first apperence on screen Bond finally managed to achieve his full potential and winning formula for the close second or even the best 007 movie ever.
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryUrsula AndressBernard LeeA resourceful British government agent seeks answers in a case involving the disappearance of a colleague and the disruption of the American space program.First movie of the franchise, classic for itself. With a beautiful setting in the sunny Jamaica and with it's lay down atmosphere spiced with beautiful Ursula Andress and interesting detective story "Dr. No" definitely fall under the category of the major Bond classics.
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryClaudine AugerAdolfo CeliJames Bond heads to the Bahamas to recover two nuclear warheads stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Agent Emilio Largo in an international extortion scheme.Majority will tell you that "Goldfinger" and "From Russia In Love" are the best Bond movies ever... Well not in my book. "Thunderball" with it's massive production and epic action sits on the throne as my second favorite Bond of the 60's and the "Connery era".
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsPierce BrosnanSean BeanIzabella ScorupcoYears after a friend and fellow 00 agent is killed on a joint mission, a secret space based weapons program known as "GoldenEye" is stolen. James Bond is assigned to stop a Russian crime syndicate from using the weapon.Pierce Brosnan will always be my childhood Bond. That is why I will always have a soft spot for him and his movies. That being said "GoldenEye" is definitely his best one and above all successful comeback for Bond after the fall of the iron curtain.
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreCarole BouquetTopolSecret service agent James Bond is assigned to find a missing British vessel equipped with a weapons encryption device and prevent it from falling into enemy hands."For Your Eyes Only" ended up really high on my list thanks to it's beautiful synergy between Roger More and Carole Bouquet. In this movie the main female role finally had a strong plot line instead of usual "esthetic" job. Backed up with some solid Bond action FYEO manages to be on the side of the better Bond movies.
- DirectorPeter R. HuntStarsGeorge LazenbyDiana RiggTelly SavalasBritish agent James Bond goes undercover to pursue the villainous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who is planning to hold the world to ransom."On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is the movie which is regularly overlooked in the series. Maybe because it was the only one with George Lazenby in the main role. Anyway it is great attempt to make something different and surely better out of the Bond franchise. I feel like this movie is something similar to "Casino Royale" from the 60's.
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryRobert ShawLotte LenyaJames Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.Decent directing by Sam Mendes, stunning cinematography by Roger Deakins and the strongest cast ever with names like: Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench and Ben Whishaw... But awfully held back by lackluster writing.
- DirectorCary Joji FukunagaStarsDaniel CraigAna de ArmasRami MalekJames Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
- DirectorMarc ForsterStarsDaniel CraigOlga KurylenkoMathieu AmalricJames Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop a mysterious organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.Undeservingly overshadowed by Skyfall. QoS has interesting script and pacing, with some superb scenes like: "Tosca" and "Sienna".
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsSean ConneryGert FröbeHonor BlackmanWhile investigating a gold magnate's smuggling, James Bond uncovers a plot to contaminate the Fort Knox gold reserve.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsRoger MooreYaphet KottoJane SeymourJames Bond is sent to stop a diabolically brilliant heroin magnate armed with a complex organisation and a reliable psychic tarot card reader.Opinions about "Live and Let Die" are pretty divided. I am on the side of those who consider it to be a classic. Great debut by Roger Moore and even better soundtrack by "Paul McCartney & Wings".
