His parents were both from upper-class families, and his maternal great-grandmother, Cynthia Roche, was the sister of Princess Diana's maternal grandfather, Maurice Roche.

Talented British actor Hugh Dancy is one of the UK's most noted young talents.
Hugh Michael Horace Dancy was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, to Sarah Ann (Birley), who works in academic publishing, and Jonathan Peter Dancy, a philosophy professor and writer. He has a brother, Jack (b. 1977), and a sister, Kate (b. 1980). He was raised in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
He got started with roles in the series Trial & Retribution (1997), Dangerfield (1995), Kavanagh QC (1995) and Granada's popular series Cold Feet (1997), and his theater appearances include Sam Mendes' David Copperfield (2000) and BBC's Madame Bovary (2000) and Daniel Deronda (2002). He also portrayed "D'Artagnan" in the series Young Blades (2001).
Dancy's appearance in Ridley Scott's war drama, Black Hawk Down (2001), as "Medic Kurt Schmid" was followed with starring roles in Tempo (2003) with Melanie Griffith and Rachael Leigh Cook and The Sleeping Dictionary (2003). Boyd Holbrook is an American actor and producer. He has appeared in films such as Milk (2008), Out of the Furnace (2013), Gone Girl (2014), A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014), Run All Night (2015) and in the Netflix series Narcos.

Lee has been married three times and has been married to Yuko Otomo, an art therapist, since 2011. They have a daughter, Lily, born in 2012.
While working as a waiter, he did his first stage work in New York. He landed his first major movie parts in Point Break (1991), Wayne's World (1992) and Wayne's World 2 (1993). An only child, Idrissa Akuna Elba was born and raised in London, England. His father, Winston, is from Sierra Leone and worked at Ford Dagenham; his mother, Eve, is from Ghana and had a clerical duty. Idris attended school in Canning Town, where he first became involved in acting, before he dropped out. Hamish Linklater is an American actor. He is known for playing Matthew Kimble in The New Adventures of Old Christine, Andrew Keanelly in The Crazy Ones, and Clark Debussy in Legion. He is the son of dramatic vocal trainer Kristin Linklater. In 2021, he starred as Father Paul in the Netflix horror miniseries Midnight Mass, for which he received high critical acclaim.- Also an accomplished stage actor, Michael won a 2011 OBIE Award and received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for his performance in Lisa Kron's "In the Wake" at The Public Theater in New York City. Michael grew up in Rocky River, Ohio and became interested in acting at an early age. His first role in a play was as "Gandalf" in a stage adaptation of "The Hobbit" when he was just 13 years old. He went on to take classes at the Beck Center in Lakewood, Ohio before graduating from high school and moving to New York. Michael studied acting at Juilliard from 1995-1999. Nick Blaemire is a Brooklyn-based actor, writer and director. In 2008, he made his Broadway debut twice over, simultaneously, as a member of the original cast of the John Waters adaptation CRY-BABY and the composer of the rock musical GLORY DAYS.
