- StarsPovl DissingMaia ÅrskovMai-Britt HastrupCirkeline (Eng: Circleen) is a Danish comic book character, created by Hanne Hastrup in 1957. The character is a little elf with spiky black hair, who wears a red dress with black dots and prefers walking barefoot. Between 1968 and 1971 the comic was adapted for a series of animated shorts, when Hanne Hastrup wrote the scripts and Jannik Hastrup animated and produced 18 short films for DR TV. The last of the short films, Flugten Fra Amerika (Escape from America) has an anti-American message that prevented it from being broadcast.[1][2][dead link] No new Cirkeline films were released until 1998. The first Cirkeline book was published in 1969, and in 1998 she took the leap to the big cinema screen in the first of 3 feature films. Cirkeline became a brand, which has grown stronger and stronger ever since and today there are 9 books, music CDs and a range of products from underwear to cups and plates. Several of the film's songs, written by Hans-Henrik Ley, have become classics - e.g. "Bim, Bam, Busse" ("Mile, Male, Mole"), "Snemusen Knud" ("Knut the Snowmouse") and "Cirkeline har fødselsdag" ("Circleen's birthday"). The little elf has been loved by children for generations, even having her own app and a crowd of friends on Facebook.

- StarsWolfgang JansenSabine SinjenClassic German good night stories on TV. Originally invented in the east, it was soon also produced in the West and is still shown today at 6:50pm. The Sandman is a small man with a white beard that comes at night and spreads sand onto the eyes of the sleeping children. This is the beginning sequence while there is singing and the typical music. This is followed by a cartoon which is different from episode to episode, often featuring children or animals. After 10 minutes it ends with an end sequence similar to the one at the beginning, but this time they sing: "Kinder, liebe Kinder, es hat mir Spaß gemacht, nun schnell ins Bett und schlaft recht schön, dann will auch ich zur Ruhe gehn. Ich wünsch euch Gute Nacht."
- StarsJoop GeesinkLoeki "the lion" was an animated puppet, which appeared (between 1972 and 2004) in one or more ultra-short sketches, often even without any text or just an exclamation, rather like a one-line newspaper cartoon, in between the individual commercials which were aired as a publicity block between (not interrupting) regular programs on Dutch public broadcasting. There are no complex or recurring story-lines.
