Notable Female Ensemble films - Part 1

by dwij-44289 • Created 8 years ago • Modified 3 years ago
If you compare male and female ensemble movies, you will notice that there is a wide gap in quantity. Research says there is only a small percentage of Hollywood movies with female protagonists. But there are even less movies centred on a GROUP of women. A lot of people like me enjoy watching movies about a group of women and it can sometimes be hard for us to search for them so here's a list of movies to make it easier for them.
This list contains some noteworthy films (at least according to me) that are mainly about a group of women and these can be of any language. Some films in this list have not be seen by me and some are yet to be released.
These films can be feature films or direct-to-video (Barbie movies) but not short films.
Sequels of movies are excluded. 'Ghostbusters'(2016) is a reboot.
