He later enrolled into AMDA, located on the upper west side of Manhattan where he learned both theatre and film acting and also furthered his knowledge in singing and dance.- Actor

This stunning and resourceful actress has been primarily a film player thus far. Only recently has she been opening herself up more to doing television (the series Gemini Division (2008), which she executive-produced), and animated voice-overs. Dawson's powerhouse talent stands out the most in edgy, urban filming that dates back to 1995 when she was only sixteen.
A rags-to-riches article entitled "Rosario Dawson: From Tenement to Tinseltown" probably says it all. Rosario was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, of Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban descent, is a singer, and her stepfather, who raised her, Greg Dawson, of Irish descent, is a construction laborer. Her parents, who married when both were teenagers, eventually divorced. Rosario and her younger brother, Clay Dawson, had it hard while growing up, and were cared for by family members, most of whom were poverty-stricken, and some of whom were HIV-positive.
Her career actually started as a child when she made a minor showing on the children's show, Sesame Street (1969). As the story goes, she was "discovered" as an adolescent on her front porch step by two photographers. One of them, Harmony Korine, was an aspiring screenwriter who thought the inexperienced sixteen-year-old was ideal for the controversial cult film Kids (1995), in which she would portray a sexually active adolescent. It took time for Rosario's film career to kick in after that, but by the late 1990s, she had nabbed several independent films. Since then, she has moved into main-stream hits (and misses) and has surprised viewers with her earthy, provocative, uninhibited approach to her roles.
Reflecting New York's tougher, tawdrier side as assorted streetwalkers, homeless mothers, drug addicts, etc., her film highlights have included Light It Up (1999), Edward Burns' Sidewalks of New York (2001), Spike Lee's 25th Hour (2002) and Shattered Glass (2003). For Oliver Stone, she portrayed the duped bride of Colin Farrell's famed B.C. Macedonian warrior, Alexander (2004) (as in "...the Great"), which featured a notoriously violent-tinged nude/sex scene.
Expanding her horizons beyond film, she has always expressed interest in singing. She hooked up with Prince for the re-release of his 1980s hit "1999" and appeared in The Chemical Brothers' video for the song "Out of Control" from the album "Surrender". She is also featured on the Outkast track, "She Lives in My Lap". On stage, she co-starred as Julia in a revival of "Two Gentlemen of Verona" at the Public Theater's "Shakespeare in the Park" and appeared in "The Vagina Monologues".
She lucked into and got to show off her singing chops in the film adaptation of the hit New York musical Rent (2005), when Daphne Rubin-Vega, the original Mimi, became pregnant and was unable to reprise her exotic dancer role. Rosario also appeared as a prostitute in the adaptation of the graphic novel Sin City (2005). Of late, she has turned to producing. One of those, Descent (2007), had her playing a college coed who is brutally attacked and raped by a fellow student. Her more popular ventures have thus far included the role of Valerie Brown in the live-action version of the comic strip Josie and the Pussycats (2001), the Will Smith starrer Men in Black II (2002), Eagle Eye (2008) with Shia LaBeouf and Seven Pounds (2008), again with Smith, in which she offered one of her more tender-hearted performances as a woman with a potentially fatal heart condition.
More recent millennium films opposite some of Hollywood's top leading movie men include the tense actioneer Unstoppable (2010) with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine; the comedy/fantasy Zookeeper (2011) opposite Dalekmania (1995); romantic dramedy 10 Years (2011) with Channing Tatum; crime drama Fire with Fire (2012) with Bruce Willis; romantic comedy Top Five (2014) with Chris Rock; and action adventure Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) with Woody Harrelson. She has also top-lined independent films with her own feisty characters such as the thriller Unforgettable (2017) and the title role in the dramedy Krystal (2017).
Focusing also on TV projects, Rosario has graced such action series/mini-series as Daredevil (2015), Iron Fist (2017) and The Defenders (2017), as well as the comedy Jane the Virgin (2014) and animated cartoon series The Last Kids on Earth (2019).
Off-camera, the still-single Dawson is highly active in political, social and environmental causes and has been involved with such organizations/charities/campaigns as the Lower East Side Girls Club, Global Cool, the O.N.E. Campaign, Oxfam, Amnesty International, Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, Control Arms, International Rescue Committee, Voto Latino (which she founded), Conservation International, Doctors Without Borders, National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy and Save the Children. In October 2008, she lent her voice to the RESPECT! Campaign, a movement aimed at preventing domestic violence.- Actor

Tommy McInnis was born in Staten Island, NY to working class parents. His mother worked in banking, and his dad worked as a real estate agent. Tommy got his first taste of the arts in the 6th grade. His teachers noticed that he could actually carry a tune, so he was called upon to sing solos in school music pageants. His next venture wouldn't come until he was a young adult. Having no stage experience, but having a desire to be of service, he became part of a theater group that was formed to raise funds for a church in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Writing sketches and performing as various characters, the show was very well received, with the performance being sold-out. So, they put on another one a year later, playing to three sell-out crowds. It would then be a very long time, about 25 years, before the arts would call upon him again. Tommy's close friend and former coworker decided to approach him about a book idea. Having a questionable past, but coming out of it, and building a career based upon his own past experiences, this became the subject of their book, Last Stop: A Survivor's Story. For Tommy it was a healing and sometimes painful look at a past he thought he'd rather soon forget. But, with things the way they are, he has been trying to move his story from the page to the screen, so he wrote a screenplay. Right now, the screenplay based on his homelessness is in the hands of several people, including his agent, several other agents of actors he thought would fit certain roles, and two production companies. (Crossed fingers.) Since the beginning of 2012, he has returned to acting. Having landed several roles in films and television, it makes him wonder why he hadn't gone back into it sooner. Tommy currently has his own project in the works. Joseph Harrell was born in December of (1973) in Norfolk, Virginia, to parents Helen and Clayton Harrell. Three years later, Helen divorced Clayton, and she moved Joseph along with his older sister Julie to New Mexico. Harrell got his first taste of acting at age seven, when he performed in a church play. However, the divorce and lack of a father figure had a major effect on him. He proceeded to act out, getting into loads of trouble with the law, eventually being put into the local "Scared Straight" program at age ten.
The family returned to Virginia Beach in (1984) in order to keep Harrell out of trouble. From the age of 10, he held several part-time jobs ranging from paperboy to pamphleteer, gas station attendant to mechanic, pizza delivery guy to restaurant manager, seafood warehouses to first mate on a fishing boat, and greens keeper to golf caddy. During this time Harrell was involved in various sports such as football, boxing and power lifting.
Unfortunately, trouble eventually found him. From the years (1984 - 1991), Harrell was arrested for numerous gang and street related crimes, fighting, vandalism, grand larceny and car theft. In (1992), while attending Bayside high school, Harrell decided to join the Marine Corps in order to find the structure he needed, but a curiosity for exotic dancing caught his eye. Less than three months later he dropped out of high school to pursue a career as a male stripper, a job he would hold for four years.
In (1996), Harrell headed to New York to pursue his lifelong passion of acting, enrolling at HB Studios. His first audition a year later, for the film "Quiz Show," was a disaster. Scarred from the experience, Harrell gave up acting and decided to focus on a career as a personal trainer for the next three years.
Bored and feeling that he was still in desperate need of structure and focus in his life, Harrell kept a promise he made to himself; got his GED, finished a semester of college, and joined the US Marine Corps in (1999). Having found the lifelong search for structure and discipline, Harrell quickly rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant in less than five years. Before enlisting for another term, Harrell was in charge of over one hundred Marines and twenty aircraft. During his second enlistment from January (2005-2008), Harrell served as a Drill Instructor for 3rd Battalion Lima Company at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, a position that would have an incredibly positive effect on him. "Being part of something bigger than your self is very exciting," says Harrell, regarding his time in the USMC. "Learning patience, not to quit, and looking forward instills wonderful behavior."
In (2006), Harrell enrolled at the University of South Carolina Beaufort to pursue a major in Business. While there, he reignited his love of acting, starring in several plays and was a member of the Rogues and Vagabonds theater troupe. For extra money, he worked as a bouncer at several local nightclubs. During this time Harrell began to audition for muscle and fitness magazines, and landed a few small modeling jobs.
Upon leaving the USMC in (2008), knowing he now had the confidence to pursue his dream, Harrell headed back to New York City to give acting another shot. He immediately enrolled in the William Esper School, supporting himself by working as a fitness model. He simultaneously enrolled in Rutgers University Business School, in effort to finish his Business degree, with a minor in theatre. While enrolled at Rutgers, Harrell co-founded the Student Veterans Organization, an organization that would win the award for Best New Student Organization of (2010). He would eventually graduate Magna Cum Laude in (2011) along with a nomination for the Dean's award.
Harrell's big acting break came in (2009) with K.J. Sanchez's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play "ReEntry," which explored the difficulties faced by military veterans making the transition from the battle front to the home front. Originally hired as a military consultant, Harrell's incredible charisma and command of the script during a workshop of the play thoroughly impressed writer/director Sanchez, and she quickly offered him the lead role of the "C.O."
Harrell's extraordinary performance received numerous accolades. The show was a turning point for Harrell in regards to his acting career and the types of roles he desired to play.
Harrell traveled with the play "ReEntry" for nearly two years, eventually catching the eye of writer/director K. Lorrel Manning, who quickly hired Harrell as the military advisor for his feature film "Happy New Year." A film that tells the story of a war-torn Marine who returns stateside to face his fiercest battle yet - the one against himself. The film is an entertaining yet hard-hitting look at the perils of post-traumatic stress disorder which affects at least twenty percent of all combat veterans. Though the role of Marine widow "Joe Wallace" didn't exist in the original script for "Happy New Year," Manning was so inspired by Harrell's performance in "ReEntry," that he created the role for him.
In his personal life, Harrell is happily married to Lauren Marie, whom he met in a New Jersey pizzeria while walking his dog "Bounder." Harrell jokingly chastised her for feeding his dog pizza. They married in a private civil ceremony in Santa Fe, New Mexico in December (2011). The couple resides in Bloomfield, New Jersey.- Actress
