Arthur is hopeful that he can make money by selling Terry's story to the press and foresees the start of a beautiful friendship.

With the Germans already starting to search the village, Jimmy, Nina and Vincent are able to escape.

John's father Ted is a wealthy property developer and it soon transpires that his ex-business partner, recently out of jail, is behind the attacks on John as he feels cheated by Ted.
