- DirectorDavid FincherStarsMichael DouglasDeborah Kara UngerSean PennAfter a wealthy San Francisco banker is given an opportunity to participate in a mysterious game, his life is turned upside down as he begins to question if it might really be a concealed conspiracy to destroy him.Michael Douglas, Sean Penn and Deborah Kara Unger
star in David Fincher's psychological film. This focuses
on bitter, wealthy businessman, Nicholas Van Orton
(Douglas) who gets a mysterious birthday present
from his brother, Conrad (Penn) that's a game.
Nicholas enrolls in the company, CRS (Consumer
Recreational Services) providing the game and
becomes drawn into a devastating nightmare.
Unger plays Christine, a woman Nicholas meets
and who could be part of the game. This is one
of Douglas' best, he and Penn are great together
and Howard Shore's score is excellent. - DirectorAlfred HitchcockStarsAnthony PerkinsJanet LeighVera MilesA secretary on the run for embezzlement takes refuge at a secluded California motel owned by a repressed man and his overbearing mother.Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles and John Gavin
star in Alfred Hitchcock's classic based on the novel.
This takes place in Phoenix, Arizona where we meet
woman, Marion Crane (Leigh) who gets herself in
trouble after she steals cash from her boss' friend
& client. Soon, she heads to the Bates motel ran
by mild-mannered loner, Norman Bates (Perkins)
and falls victim to him and his ill mother. Miles
plays her sister, Lila and Gavin plays Marion's
boyfriend, Sam Loomis. Soon, Lila and Sam
head to the motel and discover Norman's
dark secret. Perkins was terrific as Norman
Bates, the rest of the cast is good and who
can forget Bernard Herrmann's score. This
forever changed the way we took showers
and was paid tribute in John Carpenter's
"Halloween" where the kitchen knife, name,
Sam Loomis and Leigh's daughter, Jamie
Lee Curtis were used. - DirectorDavid FincherStarsMorgan FreemanBrad PittKevin SpaceyTwo detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt star in David Fincher's film.
This focuses on veteran police detective, William Somerset

plays U.S. Marshall, Sam Gerard who hunts Richard

plays Richard's friend & colleague, Charles Nichols.
Ford and Jones are great in this and I think it's
one of their best. - DirectorMichael MannStarsWilliam PetersenKim GreistJoan AllenFormer FBI profiler Will Graham returns to service to pursue a deranged serial killer dubbed "the Tooth Fairy" by the media.William Petersen, Dennis Farina, Brian Cox, Joan Allen

the novel, Red Dragon. This focuses on retired FBI

clues, Noonan plays the killer, Francis Dollarhyde
who tries to become the great, Red Dragon based
on William Blake's painting by killing and Allen
plays his blind, love interest, Reba McClane
who makes it difficult for him to continue.
This is one of Mann's best that's very
underrated with a great cast and
excellent score by Michael Rubini &
The Reds. - DirectorJonathan DemmeStarsJodie FosterAnthony HopkinsScott GlennA young F.B.I. cadet must receive the help of an incarcerated and manipulative cannibal killer to help catch another serial killer, a madman who skins his victims.Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Scott Glenn and Ted

one of his best performances and films. - DirectorRob ReinerStarsJames CaanKathy BatesRichard FarnsworthAfter a famous author is rescued from a car crash by a fan of his novels, he comes to realize that the care he is receiving is only the beginning of a nightmare of captivity and abuse.James Caan and Kathy Bates star in Rob Reiner's
film based on Stephen King's novel. Caan plays
novelist, Paul Sheldon who gets in a car accident
during a winter storm. He's rescued and nursed
back to health by woman, Annie Wilkes (Bates)
who happens to be his biggest fan. Paul learns
that Annie is unbalanced when he's held captive
in her house. This is a great film and Caan &

in this film. Russell plays Jeff Taylor, a man who

best. - DirectorRobert HarmonStarsRutger HauerC. Thomas HowellJennifer Jason LeighA young man who escapes the clutches of a murderous hitchhiker is subsequently stalked by the hitcher and framed for his crimes.C. Thomas Howell and Rutger Hauer star in this film.

Howell is good and Hauer is a good villain
as usual.
