Kristy Swanson is an American actress from California. She has had an active acting career since the 1980s. Her most memorable role was playing the original version of Buffy Summers in the horror comedy "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1992).
Swanson was born in Mission Viejo, California, a planned community in Orange County. It is located in a hilly region, 49 miles (79 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles. Swanson developed an interest in acting in early childhood. She started pursuing roles in television commercials at the age of 9, and first appeared in a commercial for doll houses. She continued to regularly appear in commercials for a few years.
Swanson received acting lessons from "The Actors Workshop", an acting school developed by Canadian actor R. J. Adams (1942 -2015). In 1984, Swanson started appearing in one-shot roles in television. She gained attention for playing Stephanie Brandon in the episode "On the Street" (1985) of the police procedural "Cagney & Lacey". Her character was a teenage prostitute who was considered a key witness in a murder trial. For this role Swanson was nominated for a Young performer award, the "Best Young Actress - Guest in a Television Series". The award was instead won by rival actress Jaclyn Bernstein.
In 1986, Swanson had the supporting role of Jennifer Davis in the television film "Mr. Boogedy", a ghost story about a haunted house in New England. There was later a revival of the series' concept under the title "University Hospital" (1995), but Swanson was not involved with the revival series.

Kelley Jakle is an actress and singer/songwriter from Sacramento, CA.
As the only girl in a family with two older brothers, Kelley held her own playing competitive soccer, basketball and swimming. However, it was acting and singing that eventually consumed her interest, beginning with The Sacramento Children's Chorus. She soon started giving impromptu performances of the National Anthem at swim meets and local parades, which turned into solo performances for the Sacramento River Cats and the NBA's Sacramento Kings. After competing against hundreds of contestants from around the country, Kelley was also selected to sing in front of thousands of fans and a national television audience for the SF 49ers.
In high school, Kelley starred in stage productions that varied from satirical comedies such as Urinetown (as Hope Cladwell) and The Princess Bride (as Princess Buttercup), to poignant and thought-provoking works like The Laramie Project (as Catherine Connolly). Her music development flourished, as she wrote songs inspired by the likes of Andrew McMahon, Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow, while accompanying herself on the piano. By her junior year Kelley produced her first self-titled CD, Spare Change, containing five original songs. This was followed by a self-titled album with her band, By the Way.
As the founder of her high school a cappella group, it was no surprise when Kelley chose to attend the University of Southern California and become a member of the SoCal VoCals - USC's premiere a cappella group. The VoCals won the coveted International Competition of collegiate Acappella in New York City twice during her time in the group.
The national television spotlight soon found Kelley when the SoCals were chosen to appear on the first season of the NBC vocal competition series, "The Sing-Off". Kelley was back again for season two, this time making it to the finals a member of the Backbeats, a group comprised of vocal performers from USC, UCLA and BYU.
After graduating with honors, Kelley remains in Los Angeles pursuing a career in music as well as in television and film. From a very young age, Freya took to performing, where she explored modeling, singing, dancing and the like, but it finally clicked when she enrolled in an acting school. The ability to inhabit other characters, far away from her own personality, provided a creative high unlike anything she had experienced. With an admiration for character actors such as Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman, she decided to follow in their footsteps.
Taking the leap of faith at the tender age of seventeen, Freya's supportive mum allowed her to move to Hollywood to "give it a shot for a year" -- her only plan B being a bakery in Perth where she had a part-time shift. Now, it is true that Freya makes a great muffin with raspberries and white chocolate, but it is hardly her calling. Determined, she went on hundreds of auditions and on the very day of her 18th birthday, she booked Netflix's second original series Hemlock Grove, helmed by horror master Eli Roth.
The rest, as they say, is history as she went on to play a variety of characters in both TV and film including originating the "Wendy Darling" character in the Peter Pan segment of Once Upon a Time for ABC, as well as Franki Valli's troubled daughter in the film adaptation of the Broadway smash Jersey Boys, directed by Clint Eastwood -- a personal hero of Freya's, and like Clint, she has plans to make the transition from actor to actor/director in the near future.
She still cooks muffins with raspberries and white chocolate, but is proud to call the film industry her vocation, and most importantly, her passion. - Penelope Mitchell is an Australian actress best known for playing the role of Letha Godfrey on the American horror television series Hemlock Grove and Liv Parker on The Vampire Diaries.

Mitchell completed her undergraduate degree in Arts: Media Communication, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
