- DirectorJohn KrasinskiStarsEmily BluntJohn KrasinskiMillicent SimmondsA family struggles for survival in a world where most humans have been killed by blind but noise-sensitive creatures. They are forced to communicate in sign language to keep the creatures at bay.10/10
Groundbreaking presentation. The use of near absolute silence throughout with maybe 10 lines spoken the whole film. If you’re a fan or horror, indie, good movies, or film itself you won’t be remotely disappointed.
Review: https://youtu.be/O5lIM7GbruQ - DirectorEdgar WrightStarsAnsel ElgortJon BernthalJon HammAfter being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.10/10
Baby Driver is one of the few movies that after I saw it I was left breathless. The incorporation of music into every scene is what brings the magic to this movie.
Review: N/A - DirectorWes AndersonStarsBryan CranstonKoyu RankinEdward NortonSet in Japan, Isle of Dogs follows a boy's odyssey in search of his lost dog.10/10
Wes Anderson blows it out of the park once again, every single frame of this film is a piece of art and the story lacks not an ounce of splendor.
Review: https://youtu.be/sq-oiom0pJg - DirectorDenis VilleneuveStarsAmy AdamsJeremy RennerForest WhitakerA linguist works with the military to communicate with alien lifeforms after twelve mysterious spacecraft appear around the world.9/10
Excellent acting, an excellent story, and a great twist.
Review: N/A - DirectorChad StahelskiStarsKeanu ReevesRiccardo ScamarcioIan McShaneAfter returning to the criminal underworld to repay a debt, John Wick discovers that a large bounty has been put on his life.9/10
Has some of the best action scenes I've ever seen, the story and acting are quite solid and lend to an authentic feeling.
Review: N/A - DirectorDavid LeitchStarsRyan ReynoldsJosh BrolinMorena BaccarinFoul-mouthed mutant mercenary Wade Wilson (a.k.a. Deadpool) assembles a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy with abilities from the brutal, time-traveling cyborg Cable.9/10
Deadpool’s sequel only builds upon the strength of the first, more humor, more gore, more characters, more everything. Fun for the whole family.
Review: May 25th - DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris HemsworthMark RuffaloThe Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.9/10 (8.8/10)
Stunning visuals and next level CGI help Infinity War bring paper to life but feels far too bloated at times.
Review: https://youtu.be/gmFGKrYY4GE - DirectorRyan CooglerStarsChadwick BosemanMichael B. JordanLupita Nyong'oT'Challa, heir to the hidden but advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must step forward to lead his people into a new future and must confront a challenger from his country's past.8/10
Like Taika Waititi, Ryan Coogler brings a refreshing take to a franchise that relies so heavily on the same formulaic story device.
Review: https://youtu.be/h46nwcOMOv0 - DirectorRian JohnsonStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaMark HamillRey develops her abilities with the help of Luke Skywalker, as the Resistance prepares for battle against the First Order.8/10
Director Rian Johnson brings an interesting take to the space opera franchise for some this change dilutes what Star Wars is but for me I found all of it welcome with the exception of Rose. What a squandered character.
Review: N/A - DirectorTaika WaititiStarsChris HemsworthTom HiddlestonCate BlanchettImprisoned on the planet Sakaar, Thor must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela.8/10
Taika Waititi provides a refreshing and welcome end to the Thor Trilogy.
Review: https://youtu.be/APKpnz32INI - DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsTye SheridanOlivia CookeBen MendelsohnWhen the creator of a virtual reality called the OASIS dies, he makes a posthumous challenge to all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune and control of his world.8/10
Fun and right into the action, while the story may be cliche the CGI, music, and nostalgia this movie presents with Spielberg’s touch makes for a non-stop action filled film.
Review: https://youtu.be/gJrA9kc02Gs - DirectorPatrick HughesStarsRyan ReynoldsSamuel L. JacksonGary OldmanOne of the world's top bodyguards gets a new client, a world class hitman who must testify at the International Criminal Court. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial alive and on time.8/10
So good I saw it twice. It's no John Wick but it's still a very entertaining movie, the combined star power and chemistry of Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson leads to this being an enjoyable film to watch again and again.
Review: N/A - DirectorRoar UthaugStarsAlicia VikanderDominic WestWalton GogginsLara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she discovers the island where her father, Lord Richard Croft disappeared.7/10
Tomb Raider is fun and will entertain you for its runtime but it’s not going to leave you breathless. It sets up for a sequel in the the end far too quickly, it’s not horrible or out of place but it sure as hell isn’t subtle.
Review: https://youtu.be/9ZN30PRV0rw - DirectorGary RossStarsSandra BullockCate BlanchettAnne HathawayDebbie Ocean gathers an all-female crew to attempt an impossible heist at New York City's annual Met Gala.7/10
Ocean’s 8 presents a fun and entertaining story but it’s lacking in many areas luckily not to the point that it’s detrimental. If you’re a fan of heist films you won’t be disappointed. - DirectorRon HowardStarsAlden EhrenreichWoody HarrelsonEmilia ClarkeDuring an adventure in the criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebel Alliance.7/10
Heavy reshoots greatly improve the movie but damage it even more in scenes kept from the original takes. The cast did an excellent job but the story just fell apart.
Review: June 1st - DirectorJake KasdanStarsDwayne JohnsonKaren GillanKevin HartFour teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game.7/10
When thinking about Jumanji the first word that comes to mind is "fun" and that's exactly what this movie is.
Review: N/A - DirectorBrad PeytonStarsDwayne JohnsonNaomie HarrisMalin AkermanWhen three different animals become infected with a dangerous pathogen, a primatologist and a geneticist team up to stop them from destroying Chicago.4/10
Rampage has no idea where it’s going and not even the combined star power of Dwayne Johnson and Jeffery Dean Morgan.
Review: Friday - DirectorSteven S. DeKnightStarsJohn BoyegaScott EastwoodCailee SpaenyJake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert and 15-year-old hacker Amara, against a new Kaiju threat.6/10
Not a bad sequel but not as good as the first, still a good movie especially if you're a fan of robots fighting big monsters.
Hopefully, Guillermo del Toro returns for the next installment his touch on the first made it one of the most memorable films of my childhood.
Review: https://youtu.be/KQV_Rt7kAEs - DirectorZack SnyderStarsBen AffleckGal GadotJason MomoaFueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.6/10
Doesn't live up to the hype but it's not unbearable to sit through, the story and CGI need tremendous work but if you're just looking for a movie to have fun watching.
Review: N/A - DirectorPatty JenkinsStarsGal GadotChris PineRobin WrightWhen a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny.6/10
Overhyped and overpraised. Wonder Woman is an interesting film and provides good acting when in regards to Gal Gadot and Chris Pine but that's about it. An abysmal ending and a horrible soundtrack.
Review: N/A - DirectorDean DevlinStarsGerard ButlerJim SturgessAbbie CornishWhen the network of satellites designed to control the global climate starts to attack Earth, it's a race against the clock for its creator to uncover the real threat before a worldwide Geostorm wipes out everything and everyone.4/10
Gerard Butler makes mistakes the movie.

Her first mission, targeting a C.I.A. agent, threatens to unravel the security of both nations.2/10
A dull and predictable film laking the flare it purports to have.
