Originally from Kelowna, British Columbia, actress on the rise Taylor Hickson has steadily made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through the dynamic characters she has brought to life on screen. From starring as the sweet, girl next door, to a relentless assassin in training, and a strong-willed, apocalypse survivor, Hickson has proved time and time again she can do it all.
Hickson was most recently seen starring in the critically acclaimed indie drama "Giant Little Ones" [Mongrel Media] alongside Maria Bello, Kyle MacLachlan and Josh Wiggins. The film follows two popular teenage boys, Franky Winter (Wiggins) and Ballas Kohl (Darren Mann), best friends since childhood, who discover their lives, families, and girlfriends dramatically upended after an unexpected incident occurs on the night of Franky's seventeenth birthday party. Hickson was a scene stealer as Natasha Kohl, Ballas' sister who is ostracized from the rest of their classmates. "Giant Little Ones" premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival to rave reviews with The Hollywood Reporter saying the film is, ".... beautifully acted story that manages to transcend quite a few - if clearly not all - of the coming-of-age genre's clichés."
On the television front Hickson can next be seen in the highly anticipated SYFY series "Deadly Class" (2019). Executive Produced by Joe and Anthony Russo ("The Avengers") the series follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a high school for assassins during the late 1980's counterculture. Hickson stars as gloomy goth girl Petra, one of the students at the School for the Deadly Arts. Hickson was also recently cast as the series lead in the drama pilot for Freeform "Motherland" (from "Claws" creator Eliot Laurence and executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick) which follows a secret government program that recruits witches to help with combat missions Additional credits for Hickson include appearing in Twentieth Century Fox's "Deadpool" opposite Ryan Reynolds, MGM's "Everything, Everything" opposite Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson, the indie thriller film "Residue," and starring on SYFY's apocalyptic series "Aftermath."
Born and raised in Canada, Hickson's career began at the age of twelve, singing alongside her father on stages throughout BC. As her passion for music deepened, she began writing her own material and graduated high school a year early to focus on her music career. She fell into acting after a relative encouraged her to audition for an agency at 16 years old. Once Hickson began auditioning, she landed roles right out the gate, one of the first being a part in the psychological thriller "Blackway" opposite Anthony Hopkins, Ray Liotta, and Julia Stiles. That was followed by a lead role in Canadian indie "Hunting Pignut" based on writer/director Martine Blue's true-life story. The film centers around Bernice (Hickson) a 15-year old runaway trying desperately to uncover the mystery of her father's disappearance. Hickson has been working non-stop ever since.
While acting and music are two of Hickson's greatest passions, she also has a big place in her heart for charity and actively supports International Justice Mission and Free the Children, both of which focus on saving or preventing children being sold into child slavery and providing relief to children living in extreme poverty. Hickson has participated in food drives, raised funds for both organizations, and while in high school raised enough money to build a school for underprivileged children and provide them with school supplies.- Actress

Brette Taylor is a seasoned American actress recognized for her work in film and television; most prominently as the ball-busting, wild-child Pam York in ABC's hit Nashville (2012), Martha Wayne on Gotham (2014), Fox's new series Prodigal Son (2019), as well as her memorable role as Crazy Debbie opposite Denis Leary in the FX drama Rescue Me (2004).
No stranger to playing strong, daedalian women, Taylor's tough girl persona earned her the nickname "Chick Nolte" while playing the ballsy FBI agent, Karen Maguire in A&E's The Beast (2009). This spirited reputation also paved the way for success in both the video game and interactive world; most notably as a southern gang leader in the top-selling game Red Dead Redemption II (2018) and as Lieutenant Elizabeth Grant in #WarGames (2018), an interactive series based on the 1983 movie WarGames (1983) starring Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy.
Brette was raised in New York City and attended the prestigious High School of Performing Arts where she studied both acting and dance. Her passion for dance also led her to study with the Cincinnati Ballet Preparatory Company at the University of Cincinnati's renowned College Conservatory of Music. Taylor credits her mother, Christine Parks, also a seasoned actor, as having a positive influence on her career.
Taylor continues to produce and collaborate as a writer, producer, director and actor through projects that highlight her connection to streetwise, straight-shooting women. "Creating characters like these is what I crave", Brette says. She recently starred in the feature film Soul to Keep alongside Louis Gossett Jr., Rob Mars and up & comer Nicholas David King. The film is scheduled to release in early 2024. She recently wrote, directed and produced her passion project Babs.
Brette is also a passionate singer-songwriter who wrote, produced and performed on her debut album, Breaking News, available via numerous streaming platforms. As an accomplished equestrian, she is a tireless advocate for horse safety, pressing for improved housing and stable standards. Tessa Farrell is an award-winning actress, director, and screenwriter, as well as the record-setting film auteur behind the movie, Cinema Legend. Tessa was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Catherine McGinley, a real estate agent in Austin, Texas, and Scott Farrell, a novelist known under the pen name Scott Falcon. She has a younger sister, Kelsey, and two younger brothers, Ryan and Shane. Tessa's ancestry is mainly European with small traces of Native American, African, and Asian heritage. Raised by her mother and stepfather, Patrick McGinley, Tessa had a relatively normal childhood, attending public schools in Arizona, Florida, and Texas, where she excelled in soccer, dance, choir, and yearbook, and graduated from Stony Point High School. After obtaining her BA in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas, Tessa moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as an actress on HBO's Entourage as a recurring background supermodel and in leading roles for indie movies such as The First Born, Diamond, and The Madness Within. She also shot commercials for Dish Network, Nike, Apple, and Dodge, among others, in her spare time. While initially following the common path in Hollywood, Tessa gradually grew dissatisfied with frequently being asked to audition as the "dumb hot girl" and constantly having to dodge sexual harassment attempts made by prestigious movie producers, talent agents, and managers. She eventually traded the audition room for her office and began to write her own movie roles. As she honed the craft of screenwriting, Tessa continued to develop her skills as a performer, studying comedic improv at UCB and playing multiple characters on Barbee Rehab. She was soon hired to adapt Kate Adamson's book, Paralyzed But Not Powerless, for the big screen. Tessa's deeply rooted passion for cinema then led to a metamorphosis into a full-fledged filmmaker. She began sharpening all her crafts by participating in timed filmmaking competitions to practice creating under extreme pressure and ended up winning awards in every competition for every project she created as the writer, director, and star. As soon as Apple released its first smartphone with a 4K camera, Tessa took to shooting short films using her iPhone with the help of her friend, Arles Netherwood-Schwesig. When he wasn't available, she began operating as a one-person film crew to keep her production costs low. In 2017, the tides of fate changed when Tessa changed her hair to blonde. Word spread that she was like the "real-life Barbie" who could do anything she set her mind to. After catching wind of a Barbie movie in development with Sony at the time, Tessa wrote a movie treatment and produced a teaser film for the project that ultimately went undiscovered yet led to her even more grandiose creation. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences in Hollywood and incorporating buried, unrecognized parts of herself, Tessa expanded her Barbie movie concept and transformed her Barbie character into Daisy Blaine, giving rise to the groundbreaking film Cinema Legend, initially titled Cinema Rebel. It's an original film about Hollywood's very own movie magician: the motion picture artist who can do it all, wear one production hat, two hats, three hats... or 70+. One theory is Tessa may have simply forgotten to stop acting. Another theory is she was, and actually is, the character in the movie, because Tessa not only brought Daisy Blaine to life in front of the camera, she brought her to life behind it too. Accomplishing what no other human has before, dancing on the coattails of Apple's evolution in smartphone cameras, Tessa leveled up the short film version of being a "one-person crew" and spent years inside four walls of her own production studio where she shot scenes, executed rewrites and reshoots, created original foley, audio and visual FX, music design, dialogue recording, editing, audio engineering, mixing, mastering... literally doing every single job a feature motion picture requires, all before AI even existed. By accomplishing such a ginormous feat, Tessa is projected to become one of Hollywood's most legendary filmmakers of all time. Sitting in the CEO chair of her own production company, Vital Spark Productions, and loaded with an arsenal of original movie scripts and the upcoming blockbuster version of Cinema Legend, Tessa is now entering the rapid waters of spec script bidding wars while sorting through Hollywood studio partnerships, keeping her eyes set on partnering with companies who hold similar values to her own: creating groundbreaking original content that not only entertains, it makes this world a better place.- Actress

Best known as Hammer Films' most seductive female vampire of the early 1970s, the Polish-born Pitt possessed dark, alluring features and a sexy figure that made her just right for Gothic horror! Ingrid Pitt (born Ingoushka Petrov) survived World War II and became a well-known actress on the East Berlin stage, however, she did not appear on screen until well into her twenties. She appeared in several minor roles in Spanish films in the mid 1960s, mostly uncredited, before landing the supporting role of undercover agent "Heidi", assisting Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton defeat the Third Reich in Where Eagles Dare (1968).
Her exotic looks and eastern European accent came to the notice of Hammer executives who cast Pitt as vampiress "Mircalla" in the sensual horror thriller The Vampire Lovers (1970). The film was a box office success with its blend of horror and sexual overtones, and Pitt was a beautiful, yet ferocious bloodsucker. Next up, Pitt was cast by Amicus Productions as another gorgeous vampire in the episode entitled "The Cloak" in the superb The House That Dripped Blood (1971). This time, Ingrid played an actress appearing in horror films alongside screen vampire Jon Pertwee, but then later reveals herself to be a real vampire keen on recruiting fresh blood.
Ingrid donned the fangs for her third vampire film in a row, Countess Dracula (1971) which was loosely based around the legend of the 16th century bloodthirsty Countess Elizabeth Bathory. Whilst not as successful, as the two prior outings, Ingrid Pitt had firmly established herself as one of the key ladies of British horror of the 1970s. She then appeared in the underrated at the time - now widely regarded as a classic - The Wicker Man (1973) as an uncooperative civil servant annoying Edward Woodward in his search for a missing child. Further work followed in The Final Option (1982), as "Elvira" in the adaptation of the John le Carré Cold War thriller Smiley's People (1982), Wild Geese II (1985) and The Asylum (2000).
Ingrid Pitt made regular appearances at horror conventions and fan gatherings, had penned several books on her horror career, and she relished talking to fans about her on screen vampiric exploits. Ingrid's fan club is known as the "Pitt of Horror"! A much loved and genuine cult figure of modern horror cinema, she died on November 23, 2010, just two days after her 73rd birthday.- Actress

Born Suzanna Smyth, the daughter of an auto engine manufacturer, Suzanna Leigh grew up in Belgrave, England, and in convent schools outside London. She began working in movies while still a pre-teen, appearing as an extra in 1958's Tom Thumb (1958) (film-debuting in the "Dancing Shoes" sequence), 1960's Oscar Wilde (1960) with 'Robert Morley' and other English productions. A few years later, she was the star of the 13-episode French TV series, Trois étoiles en Touraine (1966), which every week featured Leigh, her racing car and a different male lead (the "Three Stars" of the series' translated title). Planning to attend London's Opera Ball, costumed as "Madame Du Barry", Leigh had a sedan chair made, along with costumes for five footmen who carried it (and her) through the streets of the city. Movie producer Hal B. Wallis saw newspaper photos of Leigh's elaborate stunt and imported the 20-year-old blonde to Hollywood for Boeing, Boeing (1965). Following her brush with major studio stardom, she resumed her English acting career, showing up on movie screens, most regularly in chillers. Her 1998 autobiography is entitled "Paradise, Suzanna Style".- A former au pair and model, Jytte Stensgaard emigrated to the UK in 1963, hoping to have a successful international film career. Changing her name to the slightly easier to pronounce "Yutte" Stensgaard she ironically didn't make her debut in a British film, but in the Italian movie The Girl with a Pistol (1968) (Girl with a Pistol) which did have some British backing. She then went on to appear in various British movies, mainly of the comedy or horror genre, most famously the lead role in Lust for a Vampire (1971), as well as several television guest roles.
She also got a six-month stint hosting a game show with British king of comedy, Bob Monkhouse. After struggling with myopic casting directors, who could not see the beauty and budding talent before them and were happier to just keep casting more established but less beautiful women, Yutte finally gave up and emigrated to the USA in the mid-seventies and took up a job selling air time for a Christian radio station in Oregon.
Understandably reluctant to make appearances at horror conventions when British film publicists finally started to notice her when it was too late, she did relent and start appearing at a select few in the late 1990s, giving the non-fickle amongst her fans a chance to see her unique radiance once more.
An inimitable beauty the likes of which has never been seen since, Yutte Stensgaard was possibly the biggest loss to movies since that of Sharon Tate. - Actress
