Perhaps one of the "pretty boys" of the mid-millennium in the adult film industry is Danny Wylde. Born October 21, 1985, this tall, boyishly-handsome performer made his debut in 2006 at 21 years old. A native of California, Danny completed his GED and from there attended various community colleges and regular colleges while working towards his career in film. His early work in front of cameras appeared more by chance, than as being a potential career in the adult filming world. His earnings from his earlier appearances on camera helped finance his collegiate pursuits, thus earning him a degree in film. Since his pornographic debut in 2006, Danny has worked for various companies and has appeared on dozens of websites. He is a frequent casting choice, often appearing in scenes involving older women. His physical attributes easily transfer between being an average, every day man to being somewhat nerdy, to being quite witty and charming. John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie, along with Charlie Parker, ushered in the era of Be-Bop in the American jazz tradition. He was born in Cheraw, South Carolina, and was the youngest of nine children. He began playing piano at the age of four and received a music scholarship to the Laurinburg Institute in North Carolina. Most noted for his trademark "swollen cheeks", Gillespie admitted to copying the style of trumpeter Roy Eldridge early in his career. He replaced Eldridge in the 'Teddy Hill' Band after Eldridge's departure. He eventually began experimenting and creating his own style which would eventually come to the attention of Mario Bauza , the Godfather of Afro-Cuban jazz who was then a member of the Cab Calloway Orchestra. Though Calloway disliked Gillespie's style, calling it "Chinese music", he hired him to his band in 1939. Gillespie was later fired after two years when he cut a portion of Calloway's buttocks with a knife after Calloway accused him of throwing spitballs (the two men later became lifelong friends and often retold this story with great relish until both of their deaths). Although noted for his on- and off-stage clowning, Gillespie endured as one of the founding fathers of the Afro-Cuban &/or Latin Jazz tradition. Influenced by Mario Bauza, known as Gillespie's musical father, he was able to fuse Afro-American jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms to form a burgeoning CuBop sound. Always a musical ambassador, he toured Africa, the Middle East and Latin America under the sponsorship of the US State Department. Quite often he returned, not only with fresh musical ideas, but with musicians who would eventually go on to achieve world renown. Among his proteges and collaborators are 'Chano Pozo', the great Afro-Cuban percussionist; Danilo Pérez, a master pianist and composer originally from Panama; Arturo Sandoval, trumpeter, composer and music educator originally from Cuba; Mongo Santamaria, an Afro-Cuban conguero, bonguero and composer; David Sanchez, saxophonist and composer; Chucho Valdés, an Afro-Cuban virtuoso pianist and composer; and Bobby Sanabria, a Bronx, NY-born Nuyorican percussionist, composer, educator, bandleader and expert in the Afro-Cuban musical tradition. Indeed, many Latin jazz classics such as "Manteca", "A Night in Tunisia" and "Guachi Guaro [Soul Sauce]" were composed by Gillespie and his musical collaborators. With a strong sense of pride in his Afro-American heritage, he left a legacy of musical excellence that embraced and fused all musical forms, but particularly those forms with roots deep in Africa such as the music of Cuba, other Latin American countries and the Caribbean. Additionally, he left a legacy of goodwill and good humor that infused jazz musicians and fans throughout the world with a genuine sense of jazz's ability to transcend national and ethnic boundaries--for this reason, Gillespie was and is an international treasure.- Music Artist

Recently Afineevsky and his movie CRIES FROM SYRIA earned 4 Emmy nominations. In creating CRIES FROM SYRIA, Afineevsky spent months on the ground in Syria, using his cameras to craft a comprehensive account of the brutal five-year civil war. He edited hundreds of hours of footage from Syrian activists and citizen journalists, as well as testimony from child protestors, leaders of the revolution, human-rights defenders, ordinary citizens, and high-ranking army generals who defected to tell this important story. Afineevsky built his filmmaking career on providing a first-hand account of conflict, even if it means putting his own life in danger. He earned an Oscar and Emmy nomination in 2016 for WINTER ON FIRE: UKRAINE'S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, which details the 2013 student uprising that transformed into a violent revolution. The film also looked at the shady negotiations between Ukraine's corrupt former president, Viktor Yanukovich, and Russian president Vladimir Putin that kept Ukraine from joining the European Union. Afineevsky's tenacity in his storytelling ultimately attracted the unwanted attention of Russian intelligence agents, who continue to track him and his work. WINTER ON FIRE was an Official Selection of the Venice and Telluride International film festivals. He won the People's Choice Award for the Best Documentary from the Toronto International Film Festival and received Television Academy Honors Award. His documentary work dates back to his life in Russia as a teenager, where he won First Prize for Best Documentary at the Black Sea International Film Festival. He's since continued to demonstrate a commitment documenting important stories of change, but he also has worked in a wide spectrum of genres. From 1994-2000, he produced more than 30 musicals in Israel, including BAT (DIE FLEDERMAUS), GYPSY BARON, VIENNESE BLOOD, NIGHT IN VENICE, SILVA PRINCESS OF CHARDAS, MOZART KONZERTE (with the Prague National Opera Orchestra), among many others. His work in feature films include producing a modern-day adaptation of Dostoyevsky's classic novel CRIME AND PUNISHMENT (2002), which stars Crispin Glover, Vanessa Redgrave, John Hurt, and Margot Kidder; OPEN HEART (2002); AND DEATH GAME (2001), starring Billy Drago and Joe Lara. All three films went on to win accolades from the Houston WorldFest. He wrote and directed the 2009 family comedy starring Lainie Kazan, OY VEY! MY SON IS GAY!! (2009), for which he won more than 23 international film awards. He also wrote and directed DIVORCE: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE KIDS' EYES (2014), which provides an educational look at the different situations the children of divorced parents deal with. Afineevsky resides in Los Angeles and is a member of the The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Directors Guild of America and Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.- Director

Jack Taylor was born as George Brown Randall on October 21, 1936. Tall, slim, and handsome, with a lean face, a pencil thin mustache, and a distinguished air about him, Taylor began his acting career in the early 1950's on "The Jack Benny Show," in which he co-starred with Marilyn Monroe. Jack also had roles on the TV shows "Sheena, Queen of the Jungle" and "Adventures of Captain Grief." He then went to Mexico and acted in a few stage plays. Taylor subsequently appeared in such Mexican horror pictures as "The Curse of Nostradamus" and "The Monsters Demolisher." In addition, he worked for reigning master Mexican horror directors Frederico Curiel and Alphonso Corona Blake. Jack next moved to Spain in the early 60s. He has an uncredited bit part in the big budget historical epic "Cleopatra." Taylor achieved his greatest enduring cult popularity with his memorably sleazy portrayals of elegant, but decadent aristocratic types in a handful of entertainingly trashy Jess Franco exploitation features that include the trippy "Succubus," "Eugenie ... the Story of Her Journey Into Perversion," "Female Vampire," "Sex Charade," and "Voodoo Passion." Besides Franco, Jack has acted in movies for directors Leon Klimovsky, Armando de Ossorio, Jose Larraz, and Juan Piquer Simon. Among Taylor's most notable parts are morally dubious voyeur "hero" Luis in the terrifically twisted "The Vampires' Night Orgy," archaeologist Professor Jonathan Grant in "Night of the Sorcerors," a priest who Arnold Schwarzenegger beats up for his robes in the exciting rough'n'tumble fantasy action treat "Conan the Barbarian," sniveling gay college professor Arthur Brown in the outrageously gory slasher schlocker "Pieces," a stern whaling ship captain in Monte Hellman's fine "Iguana," and suave rare book collector Victor Fargas in Roman Polanski's excellent "The Ninth Gate." Jack Taylor continued to act in films with pleasing regularity well into his 70's.- Jade Jagger was born on 21 October 1971 in Paris, France. Jeremy James Miller is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Ben Seaver on Growing Pains and its two reunion movies. He also was the voice of Linus in Happy New Year, Charlie Brown and Snoopy the Musical.
Miller was first cast in a McDonald's commercial and then began to land multiple guest roles in Charles in Charge, Different Strokes, Punky Brewster, and Pryor's Place. He was cast in the NBC mini series Deceptions with Barry Bostwick, Stephanie Powers, and Fairuza Balk before landing the role of Ben Seaver, the youngest son on Growing Pains. Miller was supposed to be a part of the cast of the PBS show Ghostwriter. The creator wanted to make him a mentor to the younger Ghostwriter members, but the producers decided it wasn't a good idea for the show to have an older ghostwriter team member and Miller was not invited back after shooting the pilot. As an actor, probably his most recognizable trademark is the "Ben Seaver Scream", which can be heard and seen in any number of Growing Pains episodes and during the closing credits of the movie Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.
After Growing Pains, Jeremy co starred as "Jake" in the TV movie Based on an Untrue Story with Morgan Fairchild, Robert Goulet, Rikki Lake, Dan Hedeya, Victoria Jackson, and Harvey Korman.

Josh Ritter was born on 21 October 1976 in Moscow, Idaho, USA. He is a composer and actor, known for Aloha (2015), Stronger (2017) and The Hollars (2016).- Lovely, sweet-natured Joyce Randolph will forever be etched in the minds of "Golden Age" television viewers as the Bowery-like fourth party of the classic husband/wife quartet on the enduring TV family comedy The Honeymooners (1955) starring Jackie Gleason as the irrepressible hothead bus driver Ralph Kramden. As Thelma ("Trixie") Norton, the dressed-down, beleaguered wife of sewer worker Ed Norton (played by the adorably goofy Art Carney) and best friend to equally stern realist Alice Kramden (played by equally lovely Audrey Meadows), Joyce participated in nearly 100 episodes of the beloved show before it left the air in 1957.
Randolph's real last name was Sirola, being of Finnish descent. As a teenager, her interest in acting grew and she eventually found her way to become a part of the Wayne University Workshop. After high school graduation, Joyce found employment in retail at a Saks Fifth Avenue store in Detroit. Auditioning for a Workshop tour of the play "Stage Door" in Detroit, she won the part and traveled with the company. She followed that tour with another tour, a revival of "Abie's Irish Rose" that ran for a year.
At age 18, Joyce moved to New York City during war-time (1943) to try her luck. She made her Broadway debut in 1945 in the short-lived comedy "A Goose for the Gander" starring Gloria Swanson and Conrad Nagel at the Playhouse Theatre. She returned to Broadway with "Ladies Night at a Turkish Bath" in 1950. She also appeared in summer stock and once performed in the musical "No, No, Nanette" with Ms. Meadows.
She began on TV as early as 1946 at General Electric's experimental laboratory in Schenectady, NY. Having now changed her stage name from her christened name to the more inviting "Joyce Randolph," the actress began appearing on TV in 1950, finding parts on such regular programs as "The Colgate Comedy Hour," "Rocky King, Detective," "Buck Rogers," "The Clock," "I Cover Times Square" and "Famous Jury Trials." By sheer luck, Joyce was spotted in a Clorets chewing gum commercial by Gleason himself the following year and was asked to appear in a skit on the "Cavalcade of Stars," Gleason's variety show on the DuMont Network. He liked her, he cast her then as Trixie, and the rest is TV history.
Taking over the role played originally, and only once, by Elaine Stritch, when the part of Trixie was thought of as a burlesque girl, the skit format was changed to series form with The Honeymooners (1955). Caught in a terrible typecasting, Joyce would find it extremely hard obtaining other roles after the demise of the show. Interestingly, when "The Honeymooners" sketches were revived on a revamped Gleason variety show in the 1960s, the roles of Alice and Trixie were taken over by Sheila MacRae and Jane Kean. Only Carney remained. Joyce would later say she did not revive her Trixie role due to "personal and geographic reasons." Gleason had moved his company to Miami, Florida.
Joyce maintained her career for awhile on the musical stage, in commercials, and with a few solo appearances on such shows as "The Jack Benny Show," and "The Doctors and the Nurses," but eventually retired from acting altogether. She married Richard Lincoln Charles, a wealthy entrepreneur and marketing executive, on October 2, 1955, the day after The Honeymooners premiered. He died at age 74 in 1997. Their son, Randolph Richard Charles, born in 1960, followed in his father's, not his mother's, footsteps after attending Yale University. He became a marketing executive before taking over his father's business. Joyce is also the grand aunt of former Major League Baseball pitcher Tim Redding. - Writer

Judy Sheindlin (born under the name Judith Susan Blum) is an American court show arbitrator and television producer from Brooklyn, New York City. She is also a former prosecutor and family court judge. She presided over the long-running court show "Judge Judy" (1996-2021), which "adjudicated real-life small-claims disputes within a simulated courtroom set". It was the highest Nielsen-rated court show for 25 years. She subsequently presided over "Judy Justice" (2021-), the first standard courtroom series to broadcast new episodes exclusively through a streaming service.
In 1942, Sheindlin was born in Brooklyn to a Jewish family. Her ancestors were primarily German Jews and Russian Jews. Her father was the dentist Murray Blum. Her mother, Ethel, worked as an office manager. Sheindlin received her secondary education at the James Madison High School, an elite public high school located in the Madison subsection of the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn. The high school offers students an education in the workings of American legal institutions. Sheindlin graduated in 1960.
Sheindlin started her college education at the American University, a private research university which was located in Washington, D.C. The university has been affiliated with the United Methodist Church since its foundation, but religious affiliation is not a criterion for admission. Sheindlin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in government.
Sheindlin finished her law school education at the New York Law School, a private law school located in Tribeca, New York City. She earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1965, and passed the New York state bar examination within the same year. She was soon hired as as a corporate lawyer by a cosmetics firm. She worked for them until 1967.
In 1964, Sheindlin had married her first husband Ronald Levy. Levy later became a prosecutor in juvenile court. They had two children within the first years of their marriage. In 1967, Sheindlin resigned from her job to focus for a while in the upbringing of her young children. This marriage lasted until 1976, and ended in a divorce.
In 1972, Sheindlin became a prosecutor in the New York family court system. In her role as a lawyer, Sheindlin prosecuted child abuse cases, domestic violence and juvenile crime. She acquired a reputation for her "no-nonsense" attitude. In 1977, she married the judge Jerry Sheindlin. She helped raise her three stepchildren, two of which pursued legal careers of their own.
In 1982, Sheindlin was appointed as a criminal court judge by Ed Koch, the Mayor of New York City (1924-2013, term 1978-1989). In 1986, she was promoted to the rank of the supervising judge in the family court's Manhattan division. She acquired a reputation for toughness and harshness in her new role. In 1993, Sheindlin was the subject of an article in the "Los Angeles Times". This helped her gain celebrity status. She was soon featured in a segment on "60 Minutes". She started work on her first book: "Don't Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It's Raining" (1996).
Sheindlin retired as a judge in 1996. She had reportedly heard more than 20,000 cases in her career. She accepted an offer to preside in a new reality courtroom series, which became the ratings hit "Judge Judy". Her viewers reportedly liked to see "wrongdoers publicly humiliated by a strong authority figure". Sheindlin won several awards and honors over the following two decades. In 2006, she received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In March 2011, Sheindlin was hospitalized after suffering a a mini-stroke. This did not prevent her from renewing her contract, or from negotiating an annual salary increase. She signed her new contract in May 2011. In August 2017, she renewed her contract for "Judge Judy" for the final time. By 2020, Sheindlin had decided that she would end her show at the time of its 25th season anniversary. The decision was motivated in part by her increasingly poor relationship with the conglomerate ViacomCBS, and by legal disputes with the talent agency Rebel Entertainment.
"Judge Judy" broadcast its final episode in July 2021. By that time, Sheindlin had started work in the production of her new show, "Judy Justice". Its first episode was broadcast in November 2021. The program aired its first-run episodes through the streaming service Amazon Freevee. Sheindlin credited her young adult granddaughter with providing input for this show's format. A second season was scheduled to appear in November 2022.
By 2022, Sheindlin was 80-years-old. Though she has considered retirement from television at various point, she has been reluctant to follow through with her retirement plans. She has admitted in past interviews that she feels engaged by her work, and that she considers herself able to still reach an audience. After a show business career of 26 years, she has become one of the most acclaimed figures in American television.- Actress

Patti Davis (born Patricia Ann Reagan on October 21, 1952, in Los Angeles, California) is known as the black sheep of the Reagan family. She is famous for her pro-choice viewpoint on abortion and for being against nuclear weapons, and she had a highly-publicized rift between her and her parents, former president Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan.
She wrote accounts of her life that did not portray her family in a positive light, and the autobiography "The Way I See It," which contained the revelations that her father was cold, distant, and aloof to everyone except Nancy. It also contained accusations of physical abuse by her mother.
Patti was romantically involved with Bernie Leadon of Eagles for a time in the 1970s and co-wrote with him the song "I Wish You Peace," which appeared on The Eagles' "One of These Nights" album.
In 1984, she married her yoga instructor Paul Grilley, but they divorced in 1990.
In the 1990s, she posed nude for Playboy Magazine and filmed the video Playboy Celebrity Centerfold: Patti Davis (1995).
Later, Patti reconciled with her parents, especially as they battled her father's Alzheimer's disease. As public opinion polls looked more favorably upon Ronald and Nancy, so did Patti's portrayal of them. She wrote books that were more flattering to her father, and was active in Reagan family actions against John Hinckley Jr. and a CBS mini-series called The Reagans (2003). Patti also published columns and articles in a number of newspapers and magazines.- Actor

Tall, graceful, supremely accomplished American actress, singer, dancer and choreographer Paula Kelly was born in Jacksonville, Florida, one of three daughters, to Ruth and Lehman Kelly. The family moved to Harlem in New York when she was six years old. Unlike her siblings, she had strong musical inclinations which were recognised early on by her father (himself a jazz musician), who enrolled her in the Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music & Art. Paula excelled as a star pupil. This opened doors to an audition at the prestigious Juilliard School and led to a four-year scholarship. Having trained under the academy's first director of dance, Martha Hill, she graduated in 1964 and that same year made her debut on Broadway. During much of the 1960s, specialising in modern dance, she performed with such luminaries as Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey and went on tour as a dancer with Harry Belafonte.
The inevitable breakthrough to popular success came when she was cast as Helene (taxi dancer at the Fandango Ballroom) in London's West End production of "Sweet Charity" (1967), directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse. Paula ended up winning the London Variety Award for Best Supporting Actress. The play itself enjoyed a healthy run but was ultimately eclipsed by the motion picture Sweet Charity (1969), for which Paula was able to recreate her stage role. Now firmly established on the screen, she went on to sing and dance in a number of musical television specials and/or variety shows headlining Gene Kelly (with whom she performed a duet), Dean Martin, Quincy Jones, Richard Pryor and former Sweet Charity co-star Sammy Davis Jr.. She also appeared as Tiger Lily, teaming up with Danny Kaye and Mia Farrow for the BBC production of Peter Pan (1976), as well as taking on the dual role of co-choreographer. In 1971, she starred in a Los Angeles stage production of the all-singing, all-dancing musical revue "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope", for which she won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award.
Since the popularity of musicals had waned by the early 1970s, Paula had little choice but to take on straight dramatic acting roles. On several occasions she provided the female interest in a series of fashionable, sassy, tough blaxploitation films, playing cool, happening chicks opposite action men like Robert Hooks, Paul Winfield and Thalmus Rasulala (and often rising above the routine dramatic material afforded her). She was Leggy Peggy in the cult comedy Uptown Saturday Night (1974) with Sidney Poitier, Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor and had featured roles in the sci-fi classics The Andromeda Strain (1971) and Soylent Green (1973). She also appeared in many television guest spots, with notable recurring roles in The Streets of San Francisco (1972), Police Woman (1974) and the sitcom Night Court (1984), for which she received the first of two Emmy Award nominations. She retired from acting in 1999. Her husband was the British film and television director Don Chaffey, who predeceased her in 1990.
