- DirectorLuc BessonStarsJean RenoGary OldmanNatalie Portman12-year-old Mathilda is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. An unusual relationship forms as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade.EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So evil, yet so very cool. There's intense and then there's GARY OLDMAN is Leon.
Pill popping and Beethoven loving. He's never been better in my opinion. I think it's the joy he seems to get in killing a whole family in the space of 5 mins. Other actors would have made the character too hammy and unbelievable. But Gary makes him one of the most villainous bastards in cinema history. - DirectorAlan ClarkeStarsGary OldmanLesley ManvillePhil DavisThis is the story of rival "Firms" of football supporters, and how one man has a wish to team them up for the European Championships of 1988. However, when this is discussed, the opposing leaders are not happy, as they believe this is a challenge to their authority. This Film shows how football violence has progressed from pure violence to a form of organized crime, to the extent that all the leaders know each others home phone / mobile phone numbers.YETI!!!!!!
The swagger GARY OLDMAN walks around with as Bexy is a sight to behold. He's a cocky cockney that doesn't mind a pint and a fight. He's a pure psycho who does all his hooligan antics because he needs the buzz!!! - DirectorTomas AlfredsonStarsGary OldmanColin FirthTom HardyIn the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet Agent within MI6.When I first saw the film I thought GARY OLDMAN's performance was over-hyped and overrated. Then I watch it again and again. Love the film and now I'm certain that GARY OLDMAN was robbed of the Oscar. He's portrayal of George Smiley is subtle and subdued, which perfectly suits the role.
Smiley is a pure observational creature, and measures carefully each and every action. It's eye acting from the God. - DirectorOliver StoneStarsKevin CostnerGary OldmanJack LemmonNew Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison discovers there's more to the Kennedy assassination than the official story. It's freaky. You see all the documentaries and the stock footage of Oswald, and you now just think: is that GARY OLDMAN??
He nails him. He disappears completely into the accused assassin. It's a frightening astonishing achievement. - DirectorFrancis Ford CoppolaStarsGary OldmanWinona RyderAnthony HopkinsThe centuries old vampire Count Dracula comes to England to seduce his barrister Jonathan Harker's fiancée Mina Murray and inflict havoc in the foreign land.Weird and very different than Bela Lugosi's portrayal of the iconic vampire, which GARY OLDMAN makes even more iconic.
Also people forget that it's basically 3 performances in one. A warrior, Nosferatu Count(sorta) and then the madly in love Vlad. And they're all so very different. - DirectorTony ScottStarsChristian SlaterPatricia ArquetteDennis HopperIn Detroit, a pop-culture nerd steals cocaine from his new wife's pimp and tries to sell it in Hollywood, prompting the mobsters who own the drugs to pursue the couple." Yeah I know I'm Pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a pair of old Titties". Drexl is barely in it, yet he makes a huge impression in an already impressive film. That scene when Slater confronts him is one of the best scenes ever.
- DirectorPhil JoanouStarsSean PennEd HarrisGary OldmanA Boston cop is recruited to return to his hometown and infiltrate the mob ran by his best friend's brother.GARY OLDMAN makes this film worth a watch. He's on electrifying form here. When he's on screen you just can't take your eyes off him. He makes the scenes so intense and suspenseful purely by his presence.
He can be overly aggressive one minute and the next minute you see that he has a heart. - DirectorAlex CoxStarsGary OldmanChloe WebbDavid HaymanThe relationship between Sid Vicious, bassist for British punk group Sex Pistols, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen is portrayed.GARY OLDMAN at his wildest. Now that's wild. The film is far from his best, but like many of his weaker films his performance is still ridiculously amazing.
Rage: all great actors show us it, and the best make us believe it. - DirectorRod LurieStarsJoan AllenGary OldmanJeff BridgesSenator Laine Hanson is a contender for U.S. Vice President, but information and disinformation about her past surfaces that threatens to derail her confirmation. The scene were he's eating at the table with Joan Allen, and he's trying to order her food, and she keeps saying no, but he persists. You can tell he's just loving winding her up. Shelley is one conniving evil pric and GARY OLDMAN relishes the opportunity to play him.
- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleHeath LedgerAaron EckhartWhen the menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.Jim Gordon is one of GARY OLDMAN's good guy roles. He's a hero (like GARY OLDMAN) and.
GARY OLDMAN is ultimate example of a chameleon actor. I show people clips of his films and say guess who that is?? They never can believe it's him. He's usually so different and diverse.
He's great in Batman Begins but it's in the Dark Knight in which he delivers a powerhouse performance and delivers amazing Nolan dialogue which such aplomb.
