The Perfect Actors for the Mortal Kombat 2013 movie
So recently I finished re-watching the two Live Action Mortal Kombat adaptions from the 90's, as well as Mortal Kombat: Conquest TV series, and Kevin Tancharoen's 9 episode web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. And it got me thinking, who should the new cast and crew be? But lately I've heard that New Line Cinema, the sister studio to Warner Bros., has hired Kevin Tancharoen to direct the new movie in 2013 - which is going to be a reboot of the series. It is announced that the filming of the movie will start casting around March 2012.
Anyway, I've been researching for quite some time looking up a lot of martial artist actors and actresses and made a Photoshop collage of the list who I think has the potential to play as the characters from the series. With that being said, I honestly think that I have found the "PERFECT" actors and actresses that really looks like and can act like them, which would be perfect for them to play as the characters in the MK series.
Note: I might include additional actors that will play the same role should any of them were to be chosen. Also, all of the Actors and Actresses I've included speaks English, multi-lingual, and for the most part a lot of them have Martial Arts experience. It is going to absolutely be a good opportunity for a lot of them to promote themselves in the film industry.
So anyway, if you guys can check out the Actors and Actresses on this list, I'd really appreciate it. I have done some major researching on this project and compared my matches to a lot of Mortal Kombat film fans, so hope to see what you guys think and make this happen :)
And honestly, I think this reboot will be a good, "more realistic take on the characters." from the articles I've read recently, and I look forward to a really bloody Mortal Kombat "R" rated film.
Hope to get the director and Warner Bros. to see my list as well. I've been up all this week and not getting enough of sleep 'cause I've been researching about this a lot. I mean, I don't want this next film to be as bad as the first two. I grew up with Mortal Kombat as a kid and I'm 21 now. So I'm really a big fan of the series and like me and a lot of the fans, we hope to see some good actors and actresses in the series.
So for all the time and effort of me for making all this is worth something, I hope they can consider all these actors and actresses to be closely accurate to the characters in the game.
So far I'm not sure what actor who would play as Shinnok or Sheeva, and possibly Kenshi(but he's not really part of the main story until later in the MK series) or any of the rest that could possibly be in Mr. Tancharoen's next MK film or web series.
Credits to Eric-Scissorhands for allowing me to use his actor list as a reference on this, and for updating info and some actors and actresses that I replaced. Link to his list: http://www.imdb.com/list/WyYK8Yr24r4/
And Credits to budomate for allowing me to use his site as a reference for his list of potential Martial Artists who can be in the next MK film: http://www.budomate.com/mortal-kombat-movie-2013/.

Shin Koyamada is an American actor, producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and martial artist. As actor, Koyamada became best known to global audiences after his co-starring debut role in the Warner Bros blockbuster Tom Cruise film The Last Samurai (2003), with a worldwide box office of $456 million, earning it nominations for several awards, including four Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and two National Board of Review Awards. Shin also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (2006), which received the highest rated kids channel in Japan, U.K. and Europe, and is streaming on Disney+ to over 110 million global subscribers. As producer, Shin is also well known for producing numerous American and international movies, shows, comics and video games through his production company Shinca Entertainment for over 15 years. In addition to his prominent work in the entertainment career, Shin became eminent for his longtime global philanthropic efforts for over 15 years, mainly through Koyamada International Foundation (KIF), an international NGO with country chapters in 4 different continents around the world. Shin speaks fluent English and a native Japanese and holds several Black Belts in different martial arts.Liu Kang.
Shin Koyamada is my main choice for Liu Kang, because not only is he the right age for the start of a trilogy, but he's a talented actor that knows really good English, as well as a championship winning martial artist. He took up Karate while growing up and then Shaolin Kung Fu when him and his family moved to the states when he was 18, and he has a black belt in both. He is also currently learning Tae Kwon Do since 2005. He was in The Last Samurai with Ken Watanabe as Katsumoto's son, and on the Disney Channel Original Movie called Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior as a Chinese Shaolin Monk.
I've also looked up that he is the founder of the Shin Koyamada Foundation in the U.S., so I think he's really a respected martial artist. :-)
I believe he's the only choice for Liu Kang, other actors that people mentioned in their Fancast don't look like much Liu Kang. Even though he's Japanese, the first 2 actors who portrayed as Liu Kang in the first 2 Mortal Kombat games was a Korean actor, so I don't see anything wrong for a Japanese actor to play as a Chinese character.
He's about the same height as Liu Kang in-game; he's 5'9 and Liu Kang is 5'10".- Mike grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was inspired by one of his heroes, Jackie Chan, while working as a stuntman in Hong Kong on the film "Robin-B-Hood" to pursue a career in acting. Mike relocated to Los Angeles and landed roles in numerous commercials, TV shows, and films like "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist" - widely considered the best film adaptation of a video game.
After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, Moh relocated his family back to the Midwest in 2013 to open Moh's Martial Arts (LVLUP Martial Arts) in Waunakee, WI. While juggling a growing family and one of the most successful martial arts schools in the Midwest, he has been able to book roles on prime-time shows like FOX's "Empire" and ABC's "Marvel's Inhumans".
Mike continues his martial arts training daily and holds the rank of 6th degree black belt in Songahm Taekwondo. In November 2022 he was bestowed the title of Master Instructor.Kung Lao.
He is renowned for playing Kamen Rider Axe with Matt Mullins(who played Johnny Cage) in Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight(2008). He also has various martial arts training, and for the most part I think he's a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do; not to mention he also is a teacher for his dojo.
He can definitely play as Kung Lao, and he actually looks like Paolo Montalban from MK: Conquest who played as the Great Kung Lao.
He's about the same height as Kung Lao in-game; he's 5'9 and Kung Lao is 5'10". - Actor

Rain was born in Seoul, South Korea on June 25, 1982 as Jung Jihoon. He was extremely shy in elementary school; in interviews he's stated that he barely spoke. He caught the desire to become a dancer at a school talent show in sixth grade; when nobody from his school stepped forward to dance, he gave it a try, imitating the moves he saw on TV. The applause was extremely gratifying, and he decided right then to become a professional dancer. To learn, he sought out older street dancers who sometimes helped him--and other times bullied and beat him up. Rain and his younger sister Hana enjoyed a comfortable life until the Korean recession of 1997, when his father's mill and bakery businesses failed. Bankrupt, his father left for Brazil to pursue economic opportunities, leaving Rain's mother to try to support the family as a food vendor.
Rain got a start in the entertainment business as part of a 6-member boy band, Fanclub. Revealing abuses in the Korean entertainment industry, Rain described the Fanclub members as "caged animals" locked in the rehearsal room for up to 10 hours without food. After Fanclub released only two CDs, the company promoting them failed and Rain was back to square one. During his junior year of high school, he lived with some of his dance-group members, subsisting mostly on cups of ramen noodles. He auditioned 18 times for entertainment companies but was told that, although he was talented, he was too ugly to become a star. He was told that he should have plastic surgery to create "double eyelids", a common Korean practice to obtain more western-looking eyes. Finally, in 2000 he was accepted by JYP Entertainment as a trainee. CEO Park Jin Young, who put Rain through a grueling 3-4-hour audition, described him as "desperate" and "like a tiger who was about to starve to death" (2008 Discovery Channel documentary "Hip Korea"). JYP stipulated that Rain had to attend college, so after studying "ferociously," Rain got accepted to Kyunghee University and became a music major. He spent three years as a trainee and back-up dancer for JYP, who has stated that he was particularly critical of Rain in order to push him to be the best and keep him from getting a "swelled head."
During Rain's time as a trainee, his family lived in poverty and his mother became increasingly ill with diabetes as she lacked money for insulin or medical care. Rain drove himself hard to prove that he was ready to make his debut, but he didn't achieve success in time to save her life; she died of complications from diabetes a year before his debut. This had a huge impact on him; he has said in interviews that he regrets having had conflict with her over skipping school to go to dance practice, and that he believes she is in heaven where she can see him. He says that a major motivation in his life is to make her proud and he visits her grave before embarking on each new project. Another motivation he has mentioned is remembering what being hungry was like. He is a self-professed workaholic, and after acting alongside him in Speed Racer, John Goodman called him "the hardest working man in show business."Younger Sub-Zero/unmasked/Kuai Liang (奎良)
I think he'll do a good job playing as the younger brother of Sub-Zero, who's name is Kuai Liang (奎良). He'll do a good job as Sub-Zero since he played as a Ninja in the movie "Ninja Assassin", plus he has a pretty good experience in Martial Arts, I believe. His English is pretty good, with his cool Asian accent, so it will be interesting to see him play as an unmasked sub-zero, seeing his face as Sub-Zero with the red scar on his face would be awesome. Also, Sub-Zero is part of the Lin Kuei clan, so the actor should be Asian and Rain would be perfect for him! Plus Rain looks a lot more like the good version of Sub-Zero because he doesn't look too evil, except when he gets serious in Ninja Assassin where he was raised in a ninja clan, then escaped to get revenge on the his clan lord's master and kills everyone. So he will make an excellent Young Sub-Zero 'cause he'll be looking to avenge his brother's death, then eventually join forces with the good forces of the Earthrealm against Shao Kahn. Please everyone, if Rain were to play a role in the Mortal Kombat Movie, it would definitely have to be the Young Sub-Zero! After all, like I said he played as a Ninja in Ninja Assassin and trains hard to revenge against his own ninja clan and master.
He also does meet about the same height as Sub-Zero, Rain is 6'0" and Sub-Zero is 6'2", so that's fair.- Actor

Lee Byung-hun was born in 1970 in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in a wealthy family, thanks to his father, who was a successful businessman. He never dreamed of pursuing acting until a friend of his mother's suggested it. He auditioned for the KBS television network in 1991 and was accepted. His first project was a short lived TV series called "Asphalt My Hometown". Lee became popular, especially with the female crowd, in his next KBS project, "Tomorrow Love", in 1992. Though he continued to do TV series' throughout the 90s, he also tried his luck in feature films. Many of his earlier films were flops, until 2000, when he appeared in "J.S.A. Joint Security Area". The film became his first major blockbuster. Unfortunately, Lee's father passed away that same year. Over the years, Lee's popularity continued to grow, with successful TV series', like "Beautiful Days" and "All In", and features, such as "A Bittersweet Life" and "The Good, The Bad, The Weird". Lee was becoming an international celebrity. His success continued rising with the highly anticipated TV show "Iris" and his other feature films "I Saw the Devil" and "Masquerade". Having solidified his position as one of Asia's biggest stars, he is the only actor to sell out the Tokyo Dome with 45,000 screaming fans. In 2012, he was one of the first two Korean actors ever to be honored with a hand and foot print ceremony at The TLC Chinese Theater.
Lee's first foray into Hollywood films came in 2009 with a starring role in "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra." Following the global success of that film, he signed on for "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation," which was released in March 2013. His first period piece feature, "Masquerade" was released in late 2012, and was met with stellar reviews from both audiences and critics, and became the highest grossing period piece in Korean history. He next starred in "Red 2" opposite Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, and Anthony Hopkins. The film premiered in Korea on July 18, 2013. Korea became the second highest grossing market for the film behind the US. In 2015, Lee has two Korean films, "Insiders" and "Memories of the Sword", along with Hollywood blockbuster Terminator Genisys (2015), where he plays a T-1000 robot. Lee has since filmed an independent US film, "Misconduct", opposite legendary actors Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino, which is due for a 2016 release.Younger Sub-Zero/unmasked/Kuai Liang (奎良)
I believe his role as Sub-Zero would be good for him. I mean he played as the ninja as the adult Storm Shadow in GI Joe:Rise Of The Cobra and IMO, he was one of the few good things in that movie and his fight scenes as a ninja were fun to watch! His training as a ninja in that movie and also as having a small experience in martial arts, he should be good enough to play Sub-Zero.
His ability in speaking English is really good as well. Look at his interview video here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=envlCc3hkaY
He'll be a really good ninja, so if anything it'll be Sub-Zero- Born and raised in a suburb of Vancouver, Kevan discovered his love for performing from an eighth grade drama class. Known for his diversity, his talent emerged as an adolescent. " I suppose I'm the ham in my family. I figured someone had to be," jokes a jubilant Ohtsji.
Idolizing film greats such as Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, Ohtsji discovered a world forged by dedication to craft and integrity to character. In college he began intense years of studying with as many teachers and coaches as he could find to help hone his craft. Ohtsji first broke the ice with a role in Cristophe Gans's (Brotherhood of the Wolf) Crying Freeman. From there this versatile actor has contributed a repertoire of work including roles on Smallville, Stargate, Need for Speed, and Race to Mars.
Today, this 3rd Generation Japanese-Canadian actor is crossing stereotypical boundaries professionally. An onscreen imposing physical presence, Ohtsji has worked alongside the likes of Morgan Freeman, Jeff Daniels, Lothaire Bluteau, and Joshua Jackson.
Always willing to assist aspiring filmmakers and the continuance of art, Ohtsji has supported independent film and sat on the executive boards of the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, and the Powell Street Festival. Written up in numerous magazines and trade journals, Ohtsji's dedication of art through film serves as a role model to many.Older Sub-Zero/Bi-Han (璧漢)/Noob Saibot
He portrayed as the original Sub-Zero, Bi-Han (璧漢), who is the older brother of the younger Sub-Zero, Kuai Liang (奎良), in Kevin Tancharoen's web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy. He's the sub-zero that literally killed and put the whole Shirai Ryu clan to their demise by the Lin Kuei clan, which was led by Quan Chi who disguised himself as Bi-Han/Sub-Zero. So this actor should be the same, I don't see any flaws in this actor, plus he does a really good job in the fight scenes playing as Sub-Zero, and then as Noob Saibot eventually which he'll make a really evil, sinister, looking character! It'll be interesting to see him fight!
His ability in English is fluent, and his Japanese is fluent as well since him and his family moved when he was a teenager. Even though Lin Kuei is a Chinese warrior clan, the Japanese did come from the Chinese (As so I read in a book about the history of Japan) making their languages similar, plus a lot of the Kanji(Japanese Chinese characters) are almost the same. Therefore, it shouldn't be hard to really learn for the Lin Kuei clan in such little time. Also The Shirai Ryu was formed many years ago by a Lin Kuei warrior named Takeda. He eventually grew tired of the Lin Kuei and left the clan. This is a true story! I've done my research for both clans.
So this actor should still be the same for the next upcoming MK film.
I'm not sure about the height of this actor, can't find anywhere about it on the internet, but his height is tall enough for Sub-Zero/Noob Saibot who's 6'2". - Actor

Ian Anthony Dale was born on 3 July 1978 in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. He is an actor and director, known for The Walking Dead (2010), The Resident (2018) and Hawaii Five-0 (2010). He has been married to Nicole Garippo since 8 October 2016. They have two children.Scorpion.
I would still like to see the same actor, Ian Anthony Dale, to play as Scorpion. When I saw the episode of Scorpion and Sub-zero, it amazes me that Anthoony Dale has a lot of experience in fighting since I believe he took martial arts while growing up.
So he's a pretty solid actor overall and would do fine as the current Scorpion, look forward to seeing him cast in the next Mortal Kombat movie as the same Scorpion.- Stunts

Larry Lam was born on 8 November 1969 in Hong Kong. He is an actor, known for Reindeer Games (2000), I, Robot (2004) and Bang Bang (2014). He is married to Leslie Lam. They have one child.Rain.
I chose him for this role, because he is just one swift, strong, amazing Martial Artist. I’ve seen him in the movies Blade: Trinity, Elektra, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live series in the late 90s as both Leonardo and Michaelangelo! He actually is an experience Martial Artist that can do so much in his career. If I see him play as a ninja in Mortal Kombat, then it would definitely have to be Rain.. no doubt! I even forgot about this guy until I’ve seen him mentioned budomate's website as a reference. Thanks to him for endorsing him as Rain. Born in California, he is half Japanese and half Chinese. He began his training in martial arts at the age of one and a half. Since moving to Japan at the age of 18, he has done numerous movies and TV shows becoming one of the nation's most popular and recognizable talents. He has worked with some of the action movie greats including Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Jean-Claude Van Damme.Ermac.
He played as Ryu Hayabausa in the Dead or Alive movie, and has been in a lot of action films as a stuntman. He is the son of the Martial Artist, Sho Kosugi, and he's been trained in many Martial Arts growing up in: Wushu, Ninjutsu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Judo, and Kendo. I didn't find out until now looking from budomate's list, and I've also noticed that he was in Ninja Warrior known as Sasuke back in the day. He's just one talented actor, he needs to be big in hollywood, so seeing him as an actor in the next Mortal Kombat Film would be awesome. Also, he's fluent in English and Japanese if you've seen his video on youtube since he grewed up in the states. Gary Edward Daniels (born 9 May 1963) is an English actor, a martial arts artist, a martial arts action film star, a producer, and a fight coordinator. . Daniels who was also interested in films, starred in two motion pictures in 1988 made in the Philippines. These were Teddy Page's action martial arts film Final Reprisal (1988), and the jungle adventure, The Secret of King Mahi's Island (1988). Daniels returned to the US, and continued competing. From 1991 to 1994, Daniels was seen acting in several action and martial arts films, within those he had a supporting role in Albert Pyun's Knights (1993), and played an adversary who had showdowns with Jackie Chan in City Hunter (1993) and Don Wilson in Ring of Fire (1991), and Bloodfist IV: Die Trying (1992). On his own, Daniels was the star of the action films Capital Punishment (1991), American Streetfighter (1992), Firepower (1993), Full Impact (1993), and Deadly Target (1994).
In 1995, Daniels played the lead role of Kenshiro in Tony Randel's American live-action version of Japanese manga Fist of the North Star. The film had a notable cast that included Costas Mandylor, Isako Washio Malcolm McDowell, etc. From its release on, the film was widely seen on television and on home video. From that point up until 2001, Daniels, now an established action film actor, acted in many films mixed between action, martial arts, and science fiction. Some of these efforts included Albert Pyun's Heatseeker, Joseph Merhi's Rage, Art Camacho's Recoil, Jeff Burr's Spoiler, Master P's No Tomorrow, Isaac Florentine's Cold Harvest, Joseph Zito's Delta Force One: The Lost Patrol, Bloodmoon, White Tiger, Hawk's Vengeance, Riot, Epicenter, Fatal Blade, City of Fear, Black Friday, Queen's Messenger, and Witness to a Kill.
From 2004 on, Daniels took on more supporting roles, this includes the role of Ed Parker in the Bruce Lee biographical mini-series The Legend of Bruce Lee, with contemporary martial artists Mark Dacascos, Ray Park, Ernest Miller, and Michael Jai White. He is also known for his supporting role as Bryan Fury in the 2009 live-action film Tekken, and its 2014 prequel, based upon the popular fighting game series. Daniels acted alongside Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, and Randy Couture in the Sylvester Stallone film The Expendables as Lawrence "The Brit" Sparks, an ally of the villain. Daniels appeared in La Linea, an action-crime film with an ensemble cast that includes Ray Liotta, Andy García, Armand Assante, etc. Next was Across the Line: The Exodus of Charlie Wright alongside Aidan Quinn, Andy García for the second time, Mario Van Peebles, etc. Other efforts among many include David DeCocteau's The Wrong Child with Vivica A. Fox, the Wesley Snipes action vehicle Game of Death, Steve Austin's action vehicle Hunt to Kill, Stu Bennett's thriller I am Vengeance, etc. Some of the lead roles Daniels took are the martial arts fighting films Forced to Fight with Peter Weller, and Rumble. He was also the lead actor in the thriller Misfire, where he plays seasoned DEA agent, who descends into the underworld of Tijuana, and the jaded former hitman in Skin Traffik going against a gangster played by Mickey Rourke, with an ensemble cast including Daryl Hannah, Eric Roberts, Michael Madsen, Jeff Fahey, Dominique Swain, and Alan Ford.I just have to make new update that the Smoke that played in the series because it wouldn't make sense for an asian to play Smoke, since he is actually white/Caucasian and was smuggled into China to be hired as one of the highest ranked Lin Kuei assassin. I've looked this up myself which is true, and his name is Tomas Vrbada from Prague, Czech Republic. I think Gary Daniels would be excellent, he has martial arts Experience in Kung-Fu and professional Kickboxing which he won the Lightheavyweight Kickboxing Championship of the World. Although he's English, people from Czech Republic and a lot of people in the European continent almost look the same. Plus he's starred in a lot of great Martial Arts films throughout the decade and the last decade in a lot of films with Jackie Chan.- Actor

Scott Edward Adkins was born on June 17, 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, England, into a family that for generations were butchers. Along with his elder brother Craig, he was raised by their parents, John and Janet (Sanders) Adkins, in a loving middle-class family. Scott attended Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield. Probably not the best of students, he used to sneak downstairs after his parents had gone to bed and watch films all night then fall asleep during lessons. A natural athlete, Scott enjoyed a variety of sports as he grew up, but when he was 10 years old, he accompanied his father and brother to the local Judo club. The attraction was instantaneous. Idolising stars such as Bruce Lee and Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott began to train everyday. He took over his Dad's garage and turned it into his own Dojo. He even had a shrine to Bruce Lee in there that he would bow to. He remembers being mugged on a bus when he was around 13 and that really kicked his training into overdrive. He wasn't ever going to let that happen again. At the age of 14, Scott went on to train in Tae Kwon Do under the instruction of Ron Sergiew with the T.A.G.B. After a few years, he moved on to Kickboxing under Anthony Jones. He is now a fully trained Kickboxing Instructor for the P. K. A. A self confessed "film junkie" Scott's attention was drawn to acting through the Hollywood Greats. He enrolled in a drama class at Sutton Coldfield College. Being a shy lad he initially found it difficult to be put on stage in front of an audience. Finally, at the age of 21, Scott was offered a place at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. However, as an impoverished student, he found it hard to make ends meet without a grant and was forced to leave without completing the course. Very dejected he thought that was the end.
His first break came when he was offered a role in a Hong Kong martial arts film called Extreme Challenge (2001) (aka Extreme Challenge). Spotted by Head of The Hong Kong Stuntmen Association and director Wei Tung and English-born Hong Kong movie expert Bey Logan, Adkins found himself in the East for the first time. Scott got the chance to work with some of Hong Kong cinema's leading action directors including Woo-Ping Yuen, Corey Yuen, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung and the legendary Jackie Chan. Acting roles started to come in and he was offered a guest role in BBC's Doctors (2000) filmed at Birmingham's Pebble Mill. A few episodes in BBC's EastEnders (1985) and City Central (1998), and a lead role in Sky One comedy drama Mile High (2003) followed by a regular role in BBC's Holby City (1999) as Bradley Hume, the assistant General Manager of Holby General.
Starring roles in feature films soon followed with his portrayal of Talbot in Special Forces (2003) and Yuri Boyka" in Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing (2006). It was this film that broke him into the mainstream with his villainous portrayal of a Russian MMA underground fighter Boyka in what has been hailed as one of the best American made Martial Arts films of recent times. Along with lead actor Michael Jai White, fight coordinator J.J. Perry and the slick direction of Isaac Florentine this movie has some unbelievably heart stopping fight scenes. After this Scott has had guest starring roles in bigger budget films like The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and The Tournament (2009), and played Jean-Claude Van Damme's main adversary in Sony Pictures The Shepherd (2008).Smoke or Baraka and Scorpion Stunt double
I realized that Scott Adkins would be the perfect actor for Smoke! I mean the Lin Kuei hired him who was from Prague, Czech Republic, and thet's almost like him having a Russian accent speaking like Boyka from Undisputed 2 and 3!
In addition, I would like to add that he would be a good actor to do some Scorpion stunt doubles. We know that Scorpion does a summersault kick in the new MK9 game and also used a sword and semi-flail like what Scott Adkins used in the movie: "Ninja" which story sucked but action was good.
Anyway, Here's a pic of Scott Adkins and Baraka from a MK community pic:
http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee106/way2slik/Baraka.png
He would make a good actor to play as Baraka!
I also just recently want to update that by typing "Scott Adkins Mortal Kombat" he would do a really good job playing as Scorpion as well for a stunt double, I mean he made a really good Ninja in the movie "Ninja" in 2009.
On top of that, but for some reason the reason why I'm choosing him for baraka for an alternative role is because I think Scott Adkins has the flexibility and physique to play as him. I'm not trying to be prejedice or anything, but the two actors that played Baraka: Lateef Crowder in the MK trailer last year, and the new actor this year's MK web series, didn't look so realistic and they didn't match Baraka, and just weren't really good actors for the most part.- Actor

Ray Park was born in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He moved with his parents, younger brother and sister to London, UK, at the age of seven. Ray always wanted to be in the movies, and be like their heroes. He also began to nurture a love for martial arts from the age of seven, when his father's fondness for Bruce Lee films sparked a fire in the youngster's mind that would never extinguish. Specializing in the traditional Chinese Northern Shaolin Kung-fu (in the Chin Woo style), Park moved on to master other styles, most notably Wushu. In 1991, at age 16, Ray became a member of the Great Britain Wushu team, competing in his first international in Beijing, China at the 1st World Wushu Championships. Ray was the first Wushu athlete from Great Britain and Europe to place in the top seven in the world, and went on to compete for Great Britain for another six years. He became a fixture at martial arts exhibitions and tournaments, Nationally, European and Internationally, attaining Gold Medal for the Great Britain Wushu and the Chin Woo Martial Arts team.
Ray began teaching himself gymnastics at a young age but felt he was missing the correct training to achieve a higher level. At fifteen, he found a school that was willing to allow him to practice and use the floor space. The gymnastic training helped to improve his martial arts training and began to sit in and take seminars in coaching gymnastics. It was when he was nineteen that he relocated to another gymnastic gym and became one of the boys' squad coaches. He further went on to be in charge of coaching recreational gymnastics throughout schools in London. Ray's boys squad won 1st in The London Youth Games for Hendon Gymnastics Club. During one of his frequent visits to Malaysia, he was approached to audition for Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997). Ray became martial arts advisor to one of the stunt coordinators and later landed playing one of the Reptiles, Baraka, and doubling for Rayden.
Conjuring memories of his youthful cinematic martial arts passion, Park attempted to learn as much as possible about the process of filmmaking. Soon being given more scenes and becoming more natural on set, he was contacted by stunt coordinator Nick Gillard to audition for George Lucas' prequel Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). Offered the job by producer Rick McCallum, Park was given the creative freedom to develop his choreography by an impressed Lucas, and soon gained the confidence to develop his role to the best of his abilities."Reptile or Baraka.
Another great fighter. Would make a fine addition to this dream cast.
The main reason i chose him would be for his performance as Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace And more so for his performance as Toad in X-Men... I thought he was very reptilian in those. " - Eric-Scissorhands
^^I agree, same what Eric-Scissorhands said from his list. But I also think he would make a good actor to play as Baraka.
Hold on, I just realized that he played as the Stunt Double for Baraka in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation! Wow, I did not know that! Yeah It's either Baraka or Reptile.
But I honestly think that he needs to play as Reptile. I've seen him played as Darth Maul and doing that aerial flip move as Darth Maul, and seeing that he played Toad in the 1st X-men movie, he would make an excellent ninja as Reptile, seeing that he has experience in it.- Actor

Thomas Jane is an American actor who is known for portraying Frank Castle from the 2004 Marvel Comics film The Punisher and the 2012 fan film Dirty Laundry. He also was in Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line, Deep Blue Sea, The Predator, 1922, The Mist and Evening Raga of the West.Raiden.
If anything, I would choose Thomas Jane as Raiden. The reason why I chose him is because he looks a lot like Chris Lambert and also looks like him when he played as Raiden.
I think he would make a great actor for Raiden. Plus He was in the movie "The Punisher" and would be a great choice. Although I don't like the fact that Raiden in the films was Caucasian, it doesn't seem as realistic to see what he should have been as an Asian actor.- Actor

The darkly exotic, multi-lingual, multi-skilled Dacascos is a mix of Japanese, Filipino, Spanish, Irish, and Chinese heritages. He was born in Hawaii and attended school in Germany. He is married and the proud father of 3 children.Raiden.
Actually, come to think of it he's my number one pick for Raiden. Raiden is supposed to be portrayed as an Asian actor, and I think Mark Dacascos will be perfect to play as Raiden! He really has the potential because I just realized that he's a Martial artist and I remember seeing him on so many martial arts movie growing up. So I'm really thrilled to see him play as Raiden! He's such a great actor, and with his voice, he is the perfect role for Raiden... I really think he does. He has that great ability in him as a mentor/instructor and for the most part he's proficient in Wun Hop Kuen Do, Capoeira, Wushu and Muay Thai! So he was raised in a martial arts background, and his father, Al Dacascos, is a martial arts instructor and founder of the Wun Hop Kuen Do art form!- Actor

Ken Watanabe was born on October 21, 1959 in Uonuma, Japan. Both of his parents were teachers: his mother taught general education and his dad taught calligraphy. He became interested in acting at the age of 24, when a director of England's National Theater Company, where he was studying, told him that acting was his special gift. In 1978, he moved to Tokyo to pursue acting. He drew the attention of the critics when Yukio Ninagawa, a famous Japanese director, chose him for the lead role in one of his plays, even though Ken was still an acting student. He made his first TV appearance in 1982. His big career breakthrough came when he was chosen to play the lead in the Japanese national TV drama series called "Dokugan ryu Masamune". He played a samurai leader hero, making him a household name in Japan. In 1989, he collapsed while filming a movie in Canada due to leukemia. He made a miraculous comeback & co-starred with Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai (2003), which pushed him to the center stage of Hollywood.
Ken has a daughter, model, actress, & singer Anne Watanabe, & a son. He's an avid fan of Hanshin Tigers (Japanese professional baseball team) & Kobe Steel rugby team. He loves noodles.Raiden.
Raiden's character is supposed to be Asian to begin with.
Watanabe has that sagely mentor air about him, but he can also be completely badass when the mood calls for it. His English is really good, I mean if you've seen his movies in The Last Samurai, Inception, etc. he speaks really good English.
Raiden's name is written as 雷電 in both Traditional Chinese and Japanese, and 雷电 in Simplified Chinese. It's pronounced as "raiden" (phonetically) in Japanese and "léidiàn" (Pinyin) in Mandarin Chinese. This is simply the Chinese word for "thunder and lightning" that was borrowed in Japanese together with the Chinese characters. The first character (雷) in this word means "thunder", the second one (電/电) now mostly means "electricity" (in ancient times it meant "lightning").
Go check out google translate for "雷電" and click on the Japanese voice for it and Raiden sounds better in Japanese than the Chinese(Mandarin) voice.
His height is 6"0, so he should be tall enough because Raiden is 6'7, but the height isn't that much of an issue.- Actress

Award-winning actress, director, producer, Katheryn Winnick, is best known for starring and directing the critically acclaimed, Emmy award-winning television series "Vikings." Winnick made her directorial debut in sixth and final season which earned her "Best Director" at the 2020 WIN Awards. She produced and starred in Sean Penn's "Flag Day" that premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and recently starred in David E. Kelley's critically acclaimed series "Big Sky" that was ABC's most watched and highest-rated debut since 2017. She started her production company, Kat Scratch Inc., to champion strong female-lead stories.Sonya Blade.
"Shes beautiful AND has the martial arts background. Shes perfect for Sonya Blade. And i have no doubt in my mind that she could easily fill in the bra- *ahem ...boots of Sonya Blade. ” - Eric-Scissorhands
^^I agree. I would also like to add is what makes her a stunning actress is that she also looks like a mix between Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron. On top of that, I want to add that she is currently a 3rd-Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 2nd-Degree Back Belt in Karate. With this martial arts experience, she's like the perfect role for Sonya Blade.
Only downside is that she's 5'6, and Sonya is 5'9". But her height isn't much of a difference, she can still kick butt.
Anyway, I think she's the only choice for Sonya Blade - she's born for the role!- Actress

Born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Ali began modeling at age thirteen, and traveled the world before moving to Los Angeles to study acting. Her first professional acting job was a role on the television series Chicago Sons (1997). She received her breakthrough in the high school football drama Varsity Blues (1999) which included her infamous whipped cream bikini scene. Roles in the horror films House on Haunted Hill (1999) and Final Destination (2000) further transitioned her career as an actress.
Acting alongside Colin Farrell, Larter starred in the Western comedy, American Outlaws (2001) which performed poorly at the box office. That year, she also starred as "Brooke Taylor Windham" in the comedy Legally Blonde (2001) with Reese Witherspoon.
Not happy with how things were going, Larter moved to New York in 2002 to reassess her life and career. She reprized her role as "Clear Rivers" in the sequel Final Destination 2 (2003) for which she received star billing. A year later, she made a cameo appearance as herself on the pilot to the HBO comedy drama Entourage (2004) and starred in Three Way (2004) as "Isobel Delano". She had a role in A Lot Like Love (2005) as "Gina."
Larter moved back to Los Angeles in 2006 where she auditioned for a role in the NBC sci-fi drama Heroes (2006). The pilot premiered on September 25, 2006 to successful ratings and many critics declaring it "the new Lost (2004)". The series ran for a total of 77 episodes in 4 Seasons when it was canceled due to diminishing ratings and high production costs. There has been interest in a mini-series or a movie to wrap up story lines.
During her time on Heroes (2006), Larter made several appearances on film. The first was the Bollywood film Marigold (2007) where she received a seven-figure salary. The movie was met with primarily negative reviews. She also starred in Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), part 3 of the popular film franchise based on the Capcom video games. She played "Claire Redfield", based on the video game character of the same name. The movie was a box office success tripling its production budget, albeit being a critical flop. Larter also appeared in the caveman comedy Homo Erectus (2007) which was released direct-to-DVD. The film co-starred Hayes MacArthur, an actor whom she was engaged to marry in December 2007.
In 2009, Larter starred opposite Beyoncé and Idris Elba in the thriller Obsessed (2009). The film opened at number one at the box office but was met with negative reviews, with some critics comparing it to Fatal Attraction (1987). It was also this year that Larter and MacArthur married in a small ceremony in Maine, among the guests was Larter's close friend, Amy Smart. The couple has two children.
She reprised her role as Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016), directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.Sonya Blade.
I think Ali Larter would definitely make a good, alternative, Sonya Blade. She just has some kind of resemblance with Bridgett Wilson (the girl who played as Sonya in the first MK movie).
She played as Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Extinction and Afterlife. However, the only problem right now is that her last movie, her hair was more of a red color, and I'm not sure if she still has that hair color, but hopefully she can get her blonde-colored hair back again so that she can look like Bridgette Wilson. Btw, her height is 5'8", so she's nearly the same height as Sonya in game that's 5'10".- Stunts

From his humble beginnings of watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Matt Mullins has risen to become world renown in martial arts, and as a star in the CW4Kids show "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight".
With 5 martial art world titles in hand, Matt moved from Naperville, IL to Hollywood and quickly began booking national spots for top brands such as Nike, Burger King, and Pepsi, with his most recent being the Ultra Sexy Motorola RAZR 2 commercial. After Matt starred in huge international success of the Discovery Channels "Xtreme Martial Arts", Hollywood began to take notice and Matt was given the opportunity to begin to flex his acting chops in lead roles, such as the award winning cult film "Adventures of Johnny Tao".
Simultaneously, Matt created the martial art phenomenon Sideswipe, which took Hollywood by storm, winning FOX TV's "30 Seconds To Fame" and securing millions of fans to finish top 8 in "America's Got Talent" on NBC.
Whether it is choreographing for the Britney Spears Circus Tour, starring on the CW, or performing live with Sideswipe, Matt has come a long way since watching the Turtles as he continues to expand his multi-platform empire.Johnny Cage.
Still the same actor as the Johnny Cage in Kevin Tancharoen's short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth and web-film series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. He was in Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight as Kamen Rider Wing Knight. What makes him a good Johnny Cage character is his personality and can pull a lot of good humor. But I think he's the olny one who can play a really good Johnny Cage, he has the personality, the sense of humor, and martial arts experience. However, some people say that Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans are saying that one of them should be Johnny Cage, but I don't think they possess the personality like Mullins.
Can you imagine seeing him trying to pull some jokes at Katheryn Winnick as Sonya Blade? That will be interesting to see them go at each other, hahaha.
I just think he's a great actor because he has the martial arts experience, he is currently a 4th degree Black Belt in Shōrei-ryū Karate and is a leader for a dojo that he teaches in.- Actor

Michael Jai White is an American actor and martial artist who has appeared in numerous films and television series. He is the first African American to portray a major comic book superhero in a major motion picture, having starred as Al Simmons, the protagonist in the 1997 film Spawn. White portrayed Jax Briggs in Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011). White also portrayed boxer Mike Tyson in the 1995 HBO television movie Tyson.Jax.
He is currently the same Jax in Kevin's Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Rebirth and Legacy. I think despite his age, now that he's getting old since he's in his 40's, he is still is an amazing actor to play as Major Jax Briggs. What makes him even better is that he has a lot of experience as an actor, but he also has a substantial amount of experience in Martial arts. He holds several black belts currently in: Shotokan Karate, Goju Ryu Karate, Kyokushin Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, and Wushu.
If you've seen him in Undisputed II and Blood and Bone, his remarkable fight scenes makes him a really intimidating martial artist and fighter!- Actor

Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the son of Coni (Lemke), a photographer, and Joseph Momoa, a painter. His father is of Native Hawaiian and Samoan descent; and his mother, who is from Iowa, is of German, Irish, and Native American ancestry. Jason was raised in Norwalk, Iowa, by his mother. After high school, he moved to Hawaii, where he landed a lead role, beating out of thousands of hopefuls in the TV series Baywatch (1989) (known as "Baywatch Hawaii" in its 10th season). When the show ended, he spent the next couple of years traveling around the world. In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles, where he continued to pursue an acting career. In 2004, after the short-lived TV series North Shore (2004), he was cast as the popular character "Ronon Dex" in the TV series Stargate: Atlantis (2004), which achieved a cult-like following. In 2010, he appeared in the Emmy-nominated HBO series Game of Thrones (2011), playing the Dothraki king, Khal Drogo. To illustrate to the producers that he was Khal Drogo, he performed the Haka, a traditional war dance of the Maori of New Zealand. The audition was with the same casting director who was casting the titular role in the reboot of Conan the Barbarian (2011). Four weeks after being cast as the popular Robert E. Howard character, Momoa began shooting in Bulgaria. His approach, like that of the filmmakers, was to pull from the eight decades of comics and stories as well as the Frank Frazetta images rather than the hugely popular 1982 movie. Jason has a production company, Pride of Gypsies, in which he is expanding his career from actor to filmmaker. He has directed a couple of short films and is working on his feature film debut Road to Paloma (2014), which is pulled from a series of stories that he's been developing over the years, which he calls the Brown Bag Diaries: Ridin' the Blinds in B Minor (2010). Jason lives with his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, with whom he has two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.Nightwolf.
He just looks a lot like the Nightwolf in the game! Dress him like a Native American and BOOM, there you go! Btw, his father is Native Hawaiin, that's why I think he sort of fits the ethnic profile. Darren Shahlavi was seven years old when he started training in martial arts in an old drama theatre in Manchester, England. Inspired by Bruce Lees films and other action movies such as Star Wars, he dreamed of being a movie actor and would show up to his Judo class at the drama hall early to watch the actors rehearsing and performing plays.
When Darren was seventeen years old he attended a seminar for "Hong Kong style fight choreography", by Kung Fu star Donnie Yen, which gave him the confidence to pursue his dream of working in Hong Kong movies as a stepping stone to Hollywood. Then, in the early nineties, a young Shahlavi moved to Hong Kong where he began his career as a stuntman until Director Woo-Ping Yuen hired him as the lead villain in the Kung Fu classic Tai Chi Chuan. As a string of martial arts films followed, Darren also used his fighting skills as a stunt performer in studio blockbusters such as "Riddick", "Blade 3", "300", "Watchmen" and the "Night at the Museum" films, as well as supporting roles in Hollywood movies such as "I Spy" playing a boxer fighting Eddie Murphy, "The Final Cut" with Robin Williams, and guest star roles in TV shows such as "Sanctuary", "Human Target" and "Reaper."
In 2010, Darren made a triumphant return to Hong Kong action films, co-starring opposite his childhood heroes Donnie Yen and Sammo Kam-Bo Hung in the Wilson Yip directed Ip Man 2 (2010). Shahlavi plays the evil British boxing champion "The Twister" in the semi-biographical story of Bruce Lee's real life kung fu master, Ip Man. The film opened to huge critical and commercial acclaim, becoming the most successful Asian film at the box office in 2010 and widely recognized as the biggest and best martial arts film of the past decade. Following Ip Man 2's successful theatrical run in the United States, Darren has a renewed following amongst action film fans with new films set for release in 2011 including "Born to Raise Hell" opposite Steven Seagal, "Hangar 14" with Steve Austin as well as starring roles in "Aladdin and the Curse of the Djinn" and Mortal Kombat for Warner Brothers.Kano.

Jason Statham was born in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, to Eileen (Yates), a dancer, and Barry Statham, a street merchant and lounge singer. He was a Diver on the British National Diving Team and finished twelfth in the World Championships in 1992. He has also been a fashion model, black market salesman and finally of course, actor. He received the audition for his debut role as Bacon in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) through French Connection, for whom he was modeling. They became a major investor in the film and introduced Jason to Guy Ritchie, who invited him to audition for a part in the film by challenging him to impersonate an illegal street vendor and convince him to purchase fake jewelry. Jason must have been doing something right because after the success of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) he teamed up again with Guy Ritchie for Snatch (2000), with co-stars including Brad Pitt, Dennis Farina and Benicio Del Toro. After Snatch (2000) came Turn It Up (2000) with US music star Ja Rule, followed by a supporting actor role in the sci-fi film Ghosts of Mars (2001), Jet Li's The One (2001) and another screen partnership with Vinnie Jones in Mean Machine (2001) under Guy Ritchie's and Matthew Vaughn's SKA Films. Finally in 2002 he was cast as the lead role of Frank Martin in The Transporter (2002). Jason was also in the summer 2003 blockbuster remake of The Italian Job (1969), The Italian Job (2003), playing Handsome Rob.
Throughout the 2000s, Statham became a star of juicy action B-films, most significantly Crank (2006) and Crank: High Voltage (2009), and also War (2007), opposite Jet Li, and The Bank Job (2008) and Death Race (2008), among others. In the 2010s, his reputation for cheeky and tough leading performances led to his casting as Lee Christmas in The Expendables (2010) and its sequels, the comedy Spy (2015), and as (apparently) reformed villain Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019). Apart from these blockbusters, he continued headlining B-films such as Homefront (2013).
In 2017, he had his first child, a son with his partner, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.Kano.
"Although Jason Statham is English and the character is supposed to be Australian you cant deny the man not only resembles the character, but he has the martial arts knowledge and the bad ass attitude to pull it off with flying colors. " - Eric-Scissorhands
^^What he said. I would also like to add that he's a really great actor and resembles a lot like the original Kano in MK1, 2, and 3! Even though I believe that Jason Statham only has played all his roles as a good guy, I think he can pull off in playing as a bad guy as Kano. I know he's English, but I think he can somewhat pull an Australian accent like Goddard, who is also from U.K., but he just had the ability to make his accent Australian. So I think Jason Statham's thick English accent can pull it off, if he knows how to play a bad guy that is.

Channing Tatum was born in a small town, Cullman, Alabama, 50 miles north of Birmingham. He is the son of Kay (Faust), an airline worker, and Glenn Matthew Tatum, who worked in construction. Growing up, he was full of energy and somewhat troublesome, so his parents decided to enroll him in different sports such as track and field, baseball, soccer, and football to keep him out of trouble. In the ninth grade he was sent to Catholic school. It was there that he discovered his passion for football and his hopes became centered on earning an athletic college scholarship. Channing's goal was finally met, and in his senior year in high school, he was recruited and earned a full athletic college scholarship to a school in West Virginia.
Tatum is also skilled in Kung Fu and in Gor-Chor Kung Fu, a form of martial arts, in which he has earned belts. Channing later left college and, in the meantime, worked as a construction worker, a stripper, a mortgage broker and salesman. He has modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Nautica, Gap, Aeropostale, Emporio Armani, and has been featured in television commercials for American Eagle, Pepsi, and some very popular Mountain Dew commercials.
Channing can be seen on the big screen as a featured actor in Coach Carter (2005), in which he plays a high school basketball player. He was also in the very popular TV series CSI: Miami (2002) where he played the role of Bob Davenport.Kabal.

He was playing as the the younger Shang Tsung in Kevin Tancharoen's web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy.
I think he's a pretty decent character, but I'm not so sure.. the Shang Tsung in the original movie and in Mortal Kombat: Conquest was a bit older, and this Shang Tsung would be fair enough to play as the young Shang Tsung with black hair. It would be a little better if he grew out his hair a little and have the physique body for it when he shows his guns.- Actor

I'm not much of a huge fan of the young Shang Tsung, but the older version has will always be the "true" version of the character. And to see him morph after the badass intro into the Old Shang is truly awesome!
I think the Shang Tsung from the first MK movie with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa can play as Shang Tsung again, but the older form! I mean, Shang Tsung is over 500 years old anyway, so Hiroyuki Tagawa would probably do a decent job playing as Shang Tsung again, but as Shang Tsung's old form.

Vin Diesel was born Mark Sinclair in Alameda County, California, along with his fraternal twin brother, Paul Vincent. He was raised by his astrologer/psychologist mother, Delora Sherleen (Sinclair), and adoptive father, Irving H. Vincent, an acting instructor and theatre manager, in an artists' housing project in New York City's Greenwich Village. He never knew his biological father. His mother is white (with English, German, Scottish, and Irish ancestry), and his adoptive father is African-American; referring to his biological father's background, Diesel has said that he himself is "definitely a person of colour".
His first break in acting happened by chance, when at the age of seven he and his friends broke into a theatre to vandalize it. A woman stopped them and offered them each a script and $20, on the condition that they would attend everyday after school. From there, Vin's fledgling career progressed from the New York repertory company run by his father, to the Off-Off-Broadway circuit. At age seventeen and already sporting a well-honed physique, he became a bouncer at some of New York's hippest clubs to earn himself some extra cash. It was at this time that he changed his name to Vin Diesel.
Following high school, Vin enrolled as an English major at Hunter College, but dropped out after three years to go to Hollywood to further his acting career. Being an experienced theatre actor did not make any impression in Hollywood and after a year of struggling to make his mark, he returned to New York. His mother then gave him a book called "Feature Films at used Car Prices" by Rick Schmidt. The book showed him that he could take control of his career and make his own movies. He wrote a short film based on his own experiences as an actor, called Multi-Facial (1995), which was shot in less than three days at a cost of $3,000. Multi-Facial (1995) was eventually accepted for the 1995 Cannes Film Festival where it got a tumultuous reception.
Afterwards, Vin returned to Los Angeles and raised almost $50,000 through telemarketing to fund the making of his first feature, Strays (1997). Six months after shooting, the film was accepted for the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, and although it received a good reception, it did not sell as well as hoped. Yet again Vin returned disappointed to New York only to receive a dream phone call. Steven Spielberg was impressed by Multi-Facial (1995) and wanted to meet Vin, leading him to be cast in Saving Private Ryan (1998). Multi-Facial (1995) earned Vin more work, when the director of The Iron Giant (1999) saw it and decided to cast Vin in the title role. From there, Vin's career steadily grew, with him securing his first lead role, as Richard B. Riddick in the sci-fi film Pitch Black (2000). The role has earned him a legion of devoted fans and the public recognition he deserves.
Since then, he has headlined a series of blockbusters, often but not only centered on fast-driving motor vehicles: The Fast and the Furious (2001), xXx (2002), The Pacifier (2005), Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), and Furious 7 (2015). He also voiced Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and starred in the lower-budgeted courtroom drama Find Me Guilty (2006), the latter directed by Sidney Lumet.Shao Kahn.
I think Vin Diesel would be a pretty good actor to play as Shao Kahn. I'm not sure if his personality and voice would fit because I've never heard or seen Vin Diesel really played a bad character yet. But if he were to, he might be able to do a good job acting as Shao Kahn and hopefully play a good job as an evil character. You know that he played as Riddick in Pitch Black and on The Chronicles of Riddick. You can see by the role he played as Riddick, even though he's a good guy in the series, his glowing eyes in the movie can give him that sinister look as Shao Kahn

Aleks Paunovic was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to a Croatian mother and Serbian father. The result of this remarkable blend of bloodlines is the 6'5" ruggedly handsome actor appearing on screens around the world at a rapidly escalating rate.
Acting came to Aleks while he was onstage in his hometown playing in a heavy metal band, his livelihood since he was 16. Remarkably the role offered was one completely against type as it was that of Roddy McDowall's butler in the 1994 TV movie 'Heads'. Now bitten with the acting bug, Aleks combined his athleticism from his lifetime of boxing - he claims that he started boxing in the womb as all of the men in his family are boxers - and turned it into a very busy career as a stunt actor.
In 2001 Aleks stopped in Vancouver on his way to Los Angeles with an impressive resume and ready to take on Hollywood when the most horrible event in America's recent history struck. 911 changed the way anyone could enter the states and so Aleks found himself a new home and career in busy Vancouver.
Since coming to Vancouver Aleks has built an amazing resume with over 100 credits, most of which are lead and recurring roles like the one that he has on this hugely anticipated 4th season of 'Continuum'.
Aleks credits three occurrences as the game-changers in his rocketing career: One was when the venerable acting coach Larry Moss called him out in front of 300 actors, telling him that he had massive talent and demanding to see his full range; another was when he respectfully declined an offer for a 4-episode-arc on a highly-rated TV series so that he could finish his run as 'Danny' in the play "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" in a shaky old theatre to sold-out crowds.
But the biggest catalyst in Aleks's career was when he fought three rounds of casting throughout all of Los Angeles and Vancouver to win the role of 'Tom', a developmentally disabled man accused of murder in 'Personal Effects' starring Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfieffer, and Kathy Bates. Aleks put on 65 pounds to perform the role, which was one of the most challenging and rewarding roles of his career so far.
When you meet Aleks, or you watch him perform these difficult roles, you just know that with all of that leading man charisma there's star power in this man, and that you will be seeing a lot more of Aleks Paunovic.Emperor Shao Kahn.
My primary pick for Shao Kahn! Same actor from the Mortal Kombat: Legacy series. I think he would really make one intimidating Shao Kahn, I mean if you see him yell and do all those taunts, evil laughter, etc. then without a doubt he's the perfect Shao Kahn. He even has the height for it and he's 6'5"(6 feet, 5 inches) believe it or not. Not to mention he has training in Boxing and some various martial arts. I would definitely love to see this actor in the next Mortal Kombat movie or series as Shao Kahn!- Actress

Starred opposite Jason Statham and Ryan Philippe in the movie "Chaos". She was also the face of LG electronics and starred in a 100 million dollar budget campaign called "Scarlet" with Emmy award winning director David Nutter as the director best known for Band of Brothers and Games of Thrones.Queen Sindel.
My primary pick for Sindel! Wow, I never realized about this actress until I've finally rewatched Elektra and some of her recent movies from last year like In the Name of the King: Two Worlds. It even proves to me that with her acting skills like that in those movies, and especially the vampire type movies she appeared in where she plays like a witch or vampire-type woman, she would be the perfect Sindel!- Actress

Jeri Ryan was born Jeri Lynn Zimmerman on February 22, 1968 in Munich, West Germany, to Gerhard Florian Zimmerman, a Master Sergeant in the United States Army, and his wife Sharon, a social worker. She and her older brother Mark grew up on several military bases, including Kansas, Maryland, Hawaii, Georgia and Texas. Finally, at age 11, her father retired from the Army and her family settled down in Paducah, Kentucky. After graduating from Lone Oak High School in 1986, she attended Northwestern University Chicago as a National Merit Scholar. While studying there, she won a number of beauty contests (a.o.- sixth annual Miss Northwestern Alpha Delta Phi Pageant in 1989).
With a B.S. degree in Theatre, she came to Los Angeles, California and since then she has been on several television series and films - including popular series like Matlock (1986), Melrose Place (1992) and Star Trek: Voyager (1995) as well as Dark Skies (1996). Her television experience also includes roles in a variety of telefilms including Nightmare in Columbia County (1991), NBC's In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco (1993), Co-ed Call Girl (1996), The Sentinel (1996), Men Cry Bullets (1998), Dracula 2000 (2000), The Last Man (2000) and Down with Love (2003). Jeri Ryan resides in an area of Los Angeles, California with her husband chef Christophe Eme, her son Alex and daughter Gisele.Queen Sindel.
I think a lot of people didn't really like the fact that Jerri Ryan was playing as Sonya Blade. Instead for playing as Sonya Blade, I think that she would be a much better replacement for Sindel. Honestly, I say her role as Queen Sindel(Mother of Kitana) would be a great replacement. She kinda does look like the Sindel in MK: Annihilation(MK2). Don't get me wrong, she's a good actress, I just don't think she seems to fit Sonya's role and personality. I mean she's almost in her mid-40s already, but I don't see a problem with her, I just don't think that it's too real to see her doing Sonya's moves like the cartwheel and handstand/leg drop, etc. that'll look a little strange, don't you all agree? But seeing that Jeri Ryan was Seven of nine and her age would be perfect for Sindel, 'cause she's the mother of Kitana and would look older, plus with the type of role she played in Star Trek: Voyager, she would look a lot like Musetta Vander’s Sindel, she would be a great actress for Sindel!- Actress

Angelina Jolie is an Academy Award-winning actress who rose to fame after her role in Girl, Interrupted (1999), playing the title role in the "Lara Croft" blockbuster movies, as well as Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Wanted (2008), Salt (2010) and Maleficent (2014). Off-screen, Jolie has become prominently involved in international charity projects, especially those involving refugees. She often appears on many "most beautiful women" lists, and she has a personal life that is avidly covered by the tabloid press.
Jolie was born Angelina Jolie Voight in Los Angeles, California. In her earliest years, Angelina began absorbing the acting craft from her actor parents, Jon Voight, an Oscar-winner, and Marcheline Bertrand, who had studied with Lee Strasberg. Her good looks may derive from her ancestry, which is German and Slovak on her father's side, and French-Canadian, Dutch, Polish, and remote Huron, on her mother's side. At age eleven, Angelina began studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she was seen in several stage productions. She undertook some film studies at New York University and later joined the renowned Met Theatre Group in Los Angeles. At age 16, she took up a career in modeling and appeared in some music videos.
In the mid-1990s, Jolie appeared in various small films where she got good notices, including Hackers (1995) and Foxfire (1996). Her critical acclaim increased when she played strong roles in the made-for-TV movies True Women (1997), and in George Wallace (1997) which won her a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy nomination. Jolie's acclaim increased even further when she played the lead role in the HBO production Gia (1998). This was the true life story of supermodel Gia Carangi, a sensitive wild child who was both brazen and needy and who had a difficult time handling professional success and the deaths of people who were close to her. Carangi became involved with drugs and because of her needle-using habits she became, at the tender age of 26, one of the first celebrities to die of AIDS. Jolie's performance in Gia (1998) again garnered a Golden Globe Award and another Emmy nomination, and she additionally earned a SAG Award.
Angelina got a major break in 1999 when she won a leading role in the successful feature The Bone Collector (1999), starring alongside Denzel Washington. In that same year, Jolie gave a tour de force performance in Girl, Interrupted (1999) playing opposite Winona Ryder. The movie was a true story of women who spent time in a psychiatric hospital. Jolie's role was reminiscent of Jack Nicholson's character in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), the role which won Nicholson his first Oscar. Unlike "Cuckoo", "Girl" was a small film that received mixed reviews and barely made money at the box office. But when it came time to give out awards, Jolie won the triple crown -- "Girl" propelled her to win the Golden Globe Award, the SAG Award and the Academy Award for best leading actress in a supporting role.
With her newfound prominence, Jolie began to get in-depth attention from the press. Numerous aspects of her controversial personal life became news. At her wedding to her Hackers (1995) co-star Jonny Lee Miller, she had displayed her husband's name on the back of her shirt painted in her own blood. Jolie and Miller divorced, and in 2000, she married her Pushing Tin (1999) co-star Billy Bob Thornton. Jolie had become the fifth wife of a man twenty years her senior. During her marriage to Thornton, the spouses each wore a vial of the other's blood around their necks. That marriage came apart in 2002 and ended in divorce. In addition, Jolie was estranged from her famous father, Jon Voight.
In 2000, Jolie was asked to star in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). At first, she expressed disinterest, but then decided that the required training for the athletic role was intriguing. The eponymous character was drawn from a popular video game. Lara Croft was a female cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond. When the movie was released, critics were unimpressed with the final product, but critical acclaim wasn't the point of the movie. The public paid $275 million for theater tickets to see a buffed up Jolie portray the adventuresome Lara Croft. Jolie's father Jon Voight appeared in the movie, and during filming there was a brief rapprochement between father and daughter.
One of the Lara Croft movie's filming locations was Cambodia. While there, Jolie witnessed the natural beauty, culture and poverty of that country. She considered this an eye opening experience, and so began the humanitarian chapter of her life. Jolie began visiting refugee camps around the world and came to be formally appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Some of her experiences were written and published in her popular book "Notes from My Travels" whose profits go to UNHCR.
Jolie has stated that she now plans to spend most of her time in humanitarian efforts, to be financed by her actress salary. She devotes one third of her income to savings, one third to living expenses and one third to charity. In 2002, Angelina adopted a Cambodian refugee boy named Maddox, and in 2005, adopted an Ethiopian refugee girl named Zahara. Jolie's dramatic feature film Beyond Borders (2003) parallels some of her real life humanitarian experiences although, despite the inclusion of a romance between two westerners, many of the movie's images were too depressingly realistic -- the movie was not popular among critics or at the box office.
In 2004, Jolie began filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) with co-star Brad Pitt. The movie became a major box office success. There were rumors that Pitt and Jolie had an affair while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Jolie insisted that because her mother had been hurt by adultery, she herself could never participate in an affair with a married man, therefore there had been no affair with Pitt at that time. Nonetheless, Pitt separated from his wife Jennifer Aniston in January 2005 and, in the months that followed, he was frequently seen in public with Jolie, apparently as a couple. Pitt's divorce was finalized later in 2005.
Jolie and Pitt announced in early 2006 that they would have a child together, and Jolie gave birth to daughter Shiloh that May. They also adopted a three-year-old Vietnamese boy named Pax. The couple, who married in 2014 and divorced in 2019, continue to pursue movie and humanitarian projects, and now have a total of six children. She was appointed Honorary Dame Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George at the 2014 Queen's Birthday Honours for her services to United Kingdom foreign policy and the campaign to end warzone sexual violence.Queen Sindel.
If there was another choice in choosing another actress for Sindel, I think Angelina Jolie as Sindel would also be a perfect Queen Sindel... I mean in the new Mortal Kombat game(2011), Angelina Jolie looks a lot like Sindel. Only problem though is that I'm not sure if her voice and personality would be good enough to play as her, but I really think she can though, she was in Alexander the Great as Alexander's mother. So it would be really interesting to see her play as Sindel, the mother of Kitana.

Nathan Jones's saga is a tapestry of raw power and entertainment, woven from the rugged landscapes of Australia to the glitz of global arenas. A towering figure at 6' 11", he carved his niche as a colossus in strength athletics, power-lifting his way to stardom in the mid-90s. His moniker "Megaman" aptly captured his gargantuan presence, which saw him dominate strongman contests, including a notable victory in the Highland Games World Strongman Challenge at 26.
Born to a lineage of extraordinary individuals, Nathan inherited a legacy of strength and intellect. With roots stretching from the champion caber tosser grandfather in New Zealand to the nautical engineer great grandfather who miraculously survived the icy River Thames, his heritage is a chronicle of triumph over adversity. This lineage of achievers, including an Olympic cyclist grandfather with a penchant for physics and electrical engineering, set the stage for Nathan's own feats of strength and skill.
Nathan's transition to WWE in 2002 unveiled "The Colossus of Boggo Road" on the SmackDown! roster, a title that evoked his turbulent past and resilience. His stint in professional wrestling was highlighted by appearances with icons like The Undertaker and in marquee events such as WrestleMania XIX.
The turn of fate that launched his acting career was as serendipitous as it was spectacular, with martial arts superstar Jackie Chan propelling him onto the silver screen. Nathan's filmography is marked by formidable characters, from the imposing Boagrius in "TROY" to the menacing Rictus Erectus in "Mad Max: Fury Road". His roles span mythic warriors to modern-day villains, each embodying an intensity that is quintessentially Nathan Jones.
Off-screen, Nathan's life is anchored in Queensland, Australia, where he resides with his wife Fawn Tran, his son Justice, and a narrative rich with the spoils of a life lived large. His journey from strongman to screen is not just a story of personal success but a testament to the indomitable human spirit.

It's kind of hard to find a chraracter for Goro. But this guy actually hasthe height, well maybe not quite at 7 feet, and goro is 8'2", but he's 6' 11" and 360 lbs, and like I said he'll make a scary Goro. I mean, he's intimidating after all, if anyone would go after this guy, it would be tough to take him out seeing him with his four arms.
You could just make him look huge, but I wanted it to be realistic... and Nathan Jones would be a great actor! Also, he was a great actor in the recent movie with Jason Momoa, "Conan the Barbarian". He was also that big, intimidating guy in Tony Jaa's "The Protector" and it was almost impossible for him to beat that guy, it's like he was on steroids! I've seen him in "The Longest Yard" by Adam Sandler, and he was intimidating as well. His English is good, and with his intimidating voice, he would be great as either Goro or Motaro.
His height is tall enough to play as Goro, even though Goro is 8 feet tall, and Motoro is about 8 feet tall as well and taller than Goro. - Actor

While growing up, Dwayne traveled around a lot with his parents and watched his father perform in the ring. Andy On was born on May 11, 1977, in Los Angeles, California. A non-martial artist, Andy had always loved Jackie Chan movies and emulated his moves from flips and kicks at his home. In early 2000, while working as a bartender in Rhode Island, someone suggested he should become an actor. Andy, who didn't like the bartending job anyway, decided to go with his gut and head for Hong Kong to begin his career. He was approached by Chinastar founder Charles Heung and world renowned filmmaker Hark Tsui to take over the role of one of Jet Li's famous movie character, Black Mask, in Black Mask 2: City of Masks (2002). Andy went to the Shaolin Temple to train for a month in stretching and martial arts for the role. Despite the poor reviews and bad box office, Andy has continued to act and, in fact, improve in not only martial arts but acting as well. ^^What he said, if they can get him to play as Quan Chi, that would be awesome. I mean, I believe that Quan Chi is Asian, and after seeing in the movie "True LEgend" he would be an excellent Quan Chi.

Jade was awarded the Kineo Anica International Icon Award at the 74th Venice film festival and was awarded Most Popular Actress of China 2017 by Instyle Magazine.Kitana.
"Originally i wanted Julia as Kitana, but After rewatching Legendary Assassin, ive reconsidered and think Celina would be a better fit, because unlike Ms. Voth, Celina actually has Martial Arts background as well as being extremely beautiful. " - Eric-Scissorhands
^^I agree on what he said. If they can get a new actress for Kitana in the next web series or film, I hope Ktanch would consider Celina Jade as a potential actress to play as Kitana or Jade. She is a really popular actress in a lot of Asian Films in China, and I've seen her in the Legendary Assassin Film where she does some really excellent job in kicking butt. She can speak both Chinese and English fluently, and she's the daughter of an American Kung Fu star, Roy Horan.
If anything, I really think that should make her as Kitana in the next web series or film. The current Kitana is portrayed is still way too young and is still new in the film industry for acting.
Only downside for this actress is that she's a little short to play as Kitana, Celina is 5'6 and Kitana is 5'9". But I think it's not much of a difference, so I hope she gets chosen as a role as Kitana, or if to be honest any of the girl characters in the series. - Actress

Samantha Win Tjhia (formerly Samantha Jo) was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada to a Chinese father and Caucasian/Canadian mother, Charles and Leslie. She has two older brothers who reside in Toronto with the rest of her family. Samantha started acted at the age of 10, appearing in several toy commercials and print ads after winning Talent Search Canada 2001. She started martial arts at the age of 4 with Jiu Jitsu, but by the age of 17 she had become a competitive Wushu athlete- winning multiple medals at National, Pan-American and International levels and competed for Canada in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Wushu tournament. This afforded her the opportunity to move to Los Angeles as a stunt double and now, lead actress.
She is known for her proficiency in the action genre and accredits her background in stunt work for this. Samantha continues to gain momentum and excel with her no-quit work ethic and passion for the arts.Kitana.
She is currently the actress for Kitana on Kevin Tancharoen's web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy. If they were to choose a Kitana again, I suppose she would do a good job as Kitana, so Kitana wouldn't be much of a big role in the series, so I think either this actress or Celina Jade. I believe Samantha Jo has martial arts experience as well, so she would be a good Kitana. If she's going to be the same Kitana when Kevin Tancharoen makes a 2nd season web series or in the next MK film in 2013, she'll be alright.- Actress

Margaret Denise Quigley was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a father of Polish and Irish descent (originally based in New York) and a Vietnamese mother. Her parents met during the Vietnam War. Maggie has two older half-siblings from her mother's previous marriage, and two older sisters. The family moved to Hawaii and settled in Mililani.
Maggie dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but modeled and found herself bursting onto the Hong Kong movie scene - eventually becoming a full-fledged superstar in Asia. She changed her name to the easily pronounceable "Maggie Q" (for the Chinese audience). She had a cameo in the Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker smash hit Rush Hour 2 (2001) and is part of the supporting cast in Mission: Impossible III (2006), starring Tom Cruise.Jade.
She would actually make a really good actress to play as Jade. She played as "Priestess" in the Priest film(2011). And I didn't realize this, but took me a while just to find out who would actually make a good Jade character, up until I re-watched the movie Priest movie this year. Anyway, with the amazing fighting scenes she had in Priest, she definitely makes the best actress as Jade.- Grace Park (born March 14, 1974) is an American-Canadian actress. She gained recognition as Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii and Lt. Sharon 'Athena' Agathon on Battlestar Galactica (2004), as well as Shannon Ng in the Canadian television series teen soap Edgemont (2000). From 2010 to 2017, Park starred as Officer Kono Kalakaua in the CBS television series Hawaii Five-0 (2010), which debuted on September 20, 2010. Born in Los Angeles, Park moved with her family to Canada when she was 22 months old. She was raised in the Vancouver neighborhood of Kerrisdale. Park is of Korean heritage. She graduated from Magee Secondary School in 1992 and holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia.Jade.
I think this actress would definitely make a good alternative to Jade. She has a lot of good fighting experience from Hawaii Five-0, and also I've seen her in Battlestar Galactica kicking arse! - Actress

Zara Phythian was born on 10 May 1984 in England. She is an actress and producer, known for Tribal Get Out Alive (2020), Doctor Strange (2016) and Morgan (2016). She has been married to Victor Marke since 2015.Mileena.
I think I just found the perfect actress to portray as Mileena. Thanks to Budomate's website found here that I use as a reference: http://www.budomate.com/mortal-kombat-movie-2013/.
Not only that, but she is really an experienced Martial artist and happens to look exactly like the model, Danni Levy, who was the model for Mileena that was featured in a "Kasting" live-action trailer and a promotional photo session for MK2011.
Also, I just watched her kick-as* Demo Reel official website promo on youtube, which I personally think she needs more viewers.. I mean she really is deadly, so put your hands on her and she will literally destroy the living heck out of you! :D
Watch this video of her kicking people's butt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5y5jhwSB1A.
I absolutely think she's the perfect actress to play as Mileena, I mean she's a high degree black belt in both Karate and Tae Kwon Do. She would be a really dangerous Mileena!! EEEEK! O_O- Jolene Tran is known for Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) and Tricking: The Freedom of Movement (2013).Mileena.
She was the Mileena in Kevin Tancharoen's web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy. I think she did a really great job in playing as Mileena, so I hope that she could potentially be in the next MK series, or the film in 2013. - Actor

Jon Foo was born October 30th, 1982 in London England. He is known for his roles in The Protector (2005) Tekken (2010) WEAPONiZED (2016) and Rush Hour (2016) . Inspired by His fathers karate and mothers Judo He began training Kung Fu and now trains mixed styles. He went from performing at festivals with the London Chinese Acrobats (gangs of New York) to signing with one of the biggest film companies in Asia.Kenshi.
"In his bio Kenshi was described as being Eurasian. Foo is Eurasian (his father is of Asian descent, His Mother of Caucasian descent.), has the skills, and the experience (He was the lead Jin, in another Video Game adaptation, Tekken as well as staring in the fan short Street Fighter Legacy as Ryu.)
My first choice was Keanu Reeves, because of his role in the Matrix Films, then i saw Tekken and re-watched the Protector (With Tony Jaa) and realized Foo is a better fit. Another plus is that he is apart of Jackie Chan's Stunt Team, and you know those MoFo's are some of the hardest, craziest, talented, and downright toughest people in the business. Don Theerathada is one of the most exciting talents ever to grace the Thai film and TV industry. Don won the prestigious Golden Statue Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in the film Fah (1998) (nominated for 22 Golden Statue awards and Thailand's highest grossing film at that time). After that, came a slew of parts in features that lead to 6 series regulars for network Thai TV.
Years prior, while attending George Mason University, Don competed in the 110m High Hurdles for the Thai National Track & Field Team as well as representing the U.S. National Tae Kwon Do Team instantly making him a national hero. Don's newfound status garnered him large campaigns for Nike, Tag-Huer, Ray-Ban, and Oakley. This lead to commercials, and ultimately starring roles in feature films.
In 1999, Don was sought after by Chris Lee for management in America but Don chose to stay in Thailand due to his increasing popularity and demand. While in Thailand, Don was also heavily recruited by the prestigious Jackie Chan Artists Group. They currently still represent him in Hong Kong.
Now Don has recently relocated to California. It has always been Don's dream and plan to return to the states to further his acting career. What Thailand loses in one of it's brightest young stars will be our gain in what hopefully will be a new blossoming career in America.Fujin.
He's probably one of the ones that should play as Fujin. I mean I've seen his Martial Arts and everything about him is amazing, he's hasn't appeared in a lot of films, but he has been as an actor for a lot of actor's stunt doubles. Although Fujin doesn't appear later on in Mortal Kombat, I would love to see this guy play as Fujin if they can.- Actor

Lateef Crowder was born on 23 November 1977 in San Jose, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Tekken (2010), Wonder Woman (2017) and Furious 7 (2015). He was previously married to Andressa Vallotti.Kai and Baraka.
I think he also would make an excellent Kai or Baraka. This actor was the same actor that played as Baraka in the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth trailer back in 2010. And with his Capoeira skills as a martial artist, he would definitely make a good Kai with dreadlocks or Baraka as well.
