- DirectorIrvin KershnerStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter the Rebel Alliance are overpowered by the Empire, Luke Skywalker begins his Jedi training with Yoda, while his friends are pursued across the galaxy by Darth Vader and bounty hunter Boba Fett. This is regarded as one of the best sequels ever made. With a dark storyline, an ending where the bad guys win, and one of the biggest twists in movie history, it's clear to see why this is #1.
- DirectorGeorge LucasStarsHayden ChristensenNatalie PortmanEwan McGregorThree years into the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi pursues a new threat, while Anakin Skywalker is lured by Chancellor Palpatine into a sinister plot to rule the galaxy.Ok, I know a lot of you are going to disagree with this choice. But I have many reasons why this is one of the best Star Wars movies of all time:
1.) It was a huge step forward from the dissapointing Episode II.
2.) It tied up all the loose-ends of the trilogy.
3.) Obi-Wan screaming "You were the chosen one" after the final lightsaber duel gives me chills every time I hear it.
Here, we finally get to see Anakin's fall to the dark side and the birth of Luke and Leia. This movie blew me away in theatres and it surpassed my expectations.
Thank you George Lucas. - DirectorGeorge LucasStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherLuke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader. The one that started it all and launched a generation of hardcore fans. Here, we are introduced to our heroes and the "Force". A very satisfying and fun movie.
- DirectorRichard MarquandStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter rescuing Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the Rebel Alliance attempt to destroy the second Death Star, while Luke struggles to help Darth Vader back from the dark side. Not as good as the first two movies, but this is still a fun movie past the cheesiness and the stupid Ewoks. And by the way, the ending is awesome and puts an emotional close to the Star Wars saga.
- DirectorGeorge LucasStarsHayden ChristensenNatalie PortmanEwan McGregorTen years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé Amidala, while Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi. This is where we start going downhill. Even though the love story is cheesy and has wooden acting, the fight scenes are moderately fun to watch. Hey, could be worse, at least it was better than..............
- DirectorGeorge LucasStarsEwan McGregorLiam NeesonNatalie PortmanTwo Jedi escape a hostile blockade to find allies and come across a young boy who may bring balance to the Force, but the long dormant Sith resurface to claim their original glory.Jar Jar Binks. That says it all.
