Anand and Nisha re-locate to Bombay, and after sometime Anand establishes himself as a leading doctor, is honored for his thesis, and gets to be the personal doctor of a leading Bollywood actress Maltimala. When Dr. Kothari and Dr. Bhutani go to visit them, they find while Nisha is still the same good-natured woman, who is expecting a child, Dr. Anand is a changed individual, who has no time for friends, personal life, or even his wife, and is not even aware that she is pregnant. The two return home disappointed, followed by Nisha, who has decided to separate from Anand. Alone now Anand has time on his hands to decide if he can divorce Nisha and marry the most sought-after actress in India.

The question remains what impact will this have on their lives when they find that they are brother and sister, and who actually did abduct Anjana?

A wall of hatred is built-up between father & son. R.B. falls for a greedy, sex-hungry, young girl Shalini and marries her. Now Shalini wants to kill R.B. to get all his wealth, but Vishwas every time manages to foil all her schemes. One day Shalini is found dead on her bed with blood all over the bed. This death proclaimed as murder and investigation starts. Investigating officer Sandeep smells foul in the house only and suspects as why Vishwas, though being innocent has taken over the charge on his head. During the course of investigation, Sandeep confirms that Vishwas is innocent and the murder was committed by someone else. . R.B. comes to know that Vishwas has taken the blame on his head because he thought that R.B. must have committed this murder. R.B's heart fills with love for Vishwas and he gets him released from the jail.

Madhopur Police subsequently find out that the money was stolen from Universal Bank and start an investigation. Roshan is faced with another challenge when Shukal and Manglu Mama come to the city to meet Mohan, and Roshan and Shukal fall in love with each other. To complicate their romance, a cabaret dancer, Rita, pretends to fall in love with Roshan and moves in with him and his mother while the Police close in on Roshan, threatening to expose him as a thief in his mother's and everyone's eyes.
- Ashok is a petty thief working under a notorious gangster named Sunder. When Ashok comes across a dead body of a watchman, he reports this matter to the police, much to the anger of some of Sunder's men. Ashok then meets Nimmo, and both fall in love with each other. Nimmo convinces Ashok to give up this life of crime, and begin anew. Ashok agrees, and then when he has not eaten for two or three days, he realizes that it is not that easy to be a honest man. And neither will his former associates let him live very long, nor will they trust their secrets with him as long as he is alive.

- Bombay City Police suspect that some diamonds are being smuggled through Santa Cruz Airport, they immediately alert Customs Officials, and Airport police who thoroughly check through all the luggage and the passengers who have just arrived. They notice a nervous male, and when they approach to question him, he flees, leads the police onto a high speed chase, then crashes his vehicle against a tree and is killed. The police are able to recover diamonds and jewelery from a suitcase, and trace it to Bhagwandas Jewellers. When Mr. Bhagwandas is questioned, he denies having any knowledge of this, and asks his Munim to go to the Police Station and file a statement to this effect. Before the Munim can carry out his employer's instructions, he kills himself. The police must now determine as to why the Munim killed himself or was he killed by Bhagwandas, and assisting them in their task is a young man by the name of Shekhar, who has fallen in love with Bhagwandas' daughter, Rita. All the clues and trails point to Bhagwandas and his "silent" partner, Shamsher Singh, who was formerly known as criminal don, Shyamlal, but the police have no evidence to link Shamsher to the smuggling racket nor to the death of the Munim. It looks like the wily Shamsher does seem to have successfully pulled wool over the eyes of the police again.

- Shalini lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed dad, Mohan, and a younger brother, Bobby. Her dad has been entrusted by the Government of India to safeguard a list of the location of India's secret agents worldwide. Many gangsters are recruited to try and secure this list for large sums of money, but none succeed. Then one day while Shalini is returning home, she is accosted by hoodlums and abducted. A young man, Raja, comes to her rescue, and escorts her home. She introduces him to her father, and soon both fall in love with each other. Raja becomes a frequent visitor to the Lal residence and is welcomed by everyone including young Bobby. Mohan approves of Raja, and after consulting his friend, Dinanath, arranges for Shalini to get married to Raja. What Shalini, Mohan and Bobby do not know is that Raja is a burglar, a safe-cracker, who has been recruited by an underworld Don to gain the confidence of the Lal family, and steal the list of secret agents' from Mohan's house - by hook or by crook.

When the time comes for Rekha to get married to Rajesh, who is Tara's nephew, and the son of miserly Anokhilal, she is asked never to speak nor visit Deepak ever again, to which she reluctantly agrees. Dayal's son, Anantram, who has fallen in bad company and in the clutches of a prostitute, Shyama alias Chandni, squanders away the wealth as well as mortgages their house, leaving an ailing Dayal, Tara, and Deepak destitute. The question remains: Is Deepak really a harbinger for bad luck for everyone around him; will he ever get a better life and be re-united with his sister?
