Rima goes away from Rahul so that she can test him. Rahul resorts to alcohol and stops going to work. Dasu tries hard to persuade Rahul and Rima but her fails. Rahul dedicates himself t service of mankind. Rima's cousin visits her and tells her about Rahul. She understands her mistake and comes to Kolkata. But in the mean time Mr. Mazumdar sets Rahul's factory on fire. Dasu gets fatally injured and succumbs to his injuries. But, he unites the lovers before he dies.
