Unfortunately, he's a spirited player and Miss Amanda Cooper fusses at Rev. Alden for that 'un-church-like' music. Toby finds her spirited and it's love at first sight. He tries everything to make her like him. At the same time, Laura is trying with Albert's help to get Jason, a boy at school, to like her. Unfortunately, Laura and Toby both go to the annual barn dance alone, but they both end up with the partner they want.
