- The end of the day and the nightfall, which plunges us into the loneliness and darkness of another day.
- Silence and solitude, an emptiness calmed only by the music of the canaries, which today only exist in memories slowly erased by what they call progress.
- Life, from childhood to death through poetry, music and images from the past, which rests in the memory of those who stayed behind. Inspired mainly by the works of James Benning, this film is a project from years ago, at first it would be shot in different locations, but after the sale a land near my house to building construction, I decided to shot it in in this terrain, whose trees and history were already sentenced by "progress", thus fitting perfectly with the film's script. With poetry by Fábio Oliveira as protagonist, the film portrays, in a minimalist way, the feelings, emotions and memories of a lifetime. The musical entries were inspired by Manoel de Oliveira's films and his dry style and simple appearance, but at the same time bringing all the refinement and emotions that only cinema can provide.
- For fifteen hours, from exactly 90 seconds before the full hour, someone watches the city.
- Only one second separates the old from the new, unfulfilled plans from plans to be carried out, men have created the dates and their time, but the universe will always keep the pace in its own way.
