- It is March 2020, while the first drastic lock down begins in Palermo, in the historic district, a nine-year-old boy, Antonio (Cadili), continues to meet his grandfather, Giuseppe (Tidona), a professional and passionate puppeteer. Nino (Scaduto), Giuseppe's son and restaurant owner is hit strongly by the severity of the crisis caused by the pandemic, he has not talked to his father for years, unlike little Antonio who loves to listen to his grandfather's anecdotes and through him, learns the true secret of happiness. At the same time, not far away, Yvonne (Barbancourt), a rich Canadian woman, is in Palermo to treat the depression caused by the disappearance of her husband and her youngest son. She is stranded in the city because of the lock down. Antonio is the source of widespread well-being, his ability to find the good in every circumstance is known throughout the neighborhood and soon Yvonne too is affected. Between videos on YouTube with his brother Ciccetto (Russo), small puppet shows from the terrace, joyful smiles and speeches full of optimism, Antonio aims to bring the joy of life back to everyone in his neighborhood, especially the elderly, but he hides a little sweet and bitter secret.
