- Apostolis Papathanasiou was born and lives in Stournareika, Trikala, with his wife and two children. He works as a logger, like his grandfather and father. Life in the village provides many freedoms for him and his family but also has many restrictions. The children are growing up and need tutoring, while day wages in logging have decreased significantly. The village is being deserted day by day and only the elderly are left behind. Resisting the difficulties, Apostolis chooses to stay in the village and live his everyday life in the nature.
