- September 1998: A recent spate of unusual suicide incidents where several high school girls fell to their death, but left no suicide note and had apparently no reason to commit suicide. In this case, no apparent relationship. Shiki discovers that there is one thing in common and there is a strange force in the shadows behind this bizarre deaths. Will she discover the culprit before someone else's life is in danger?

- July 1998: Mikiya finds a confused Fujino Asagami crouched in an alley and noticing she is suffering from pain in her abdomen. Mikiya accompanies her to his apartment where she falls asleep. In the next morning, Mikiya notices Fujino is gone and at the same time, the news report a murder scene in an abandoned underground bar where the victims' corpses were found with their limbs torn off. Shiki appears to confront her. A gift which in turn is a curse. Can they save the confused woman of her strange curse?
- June 1998: Shiki has had a near death experience. Awakening from a coma, she has lost something very important to her, leaving a great void in her soul. A void that some beings from the afterlife want to take advantage of at any cost. But in contrast, she has also received a new gift: she just needs someone to guide her with her new power. Can she get that help in time? Can she fill the void that overwhelms her?
- August 1995: Mikiya first meets Shiki in a white kimono during a snowing day. Later on, at the high school freshmen ceremony, Mikiya sees Shiki in the crowd and chases after her, introducing himself to her. But Shiki hides a big secret: A wave of bizarre murders occur around many loose ends, and no suspects. there are still many questions: Who to believe? Who is the murderer? What is the secret of Shiki? and especially: Who is SHIKI?
- February 1999: A new spate of ferocious murders has caught the eye of both Shiki and Daisuke, Mikiya's cousin who investigated the murders occurred in 1995. Shiki wanders the back alleys of the business district, searching for the murderer and avoiding attacks by local thugs while Mikiya becomes more and more worried about her, beginning his own investigation that takes him down a path populated by drug pushers and prostitutes. They will discover that their enemy is someone from the past that had much to do with both and is only guided by an animal impulse. Who is the murderer? Will they survive to their fate?

- All the servants have been summoned and now it is a game of spy vs spy. Who will be the first to take the initiative in Fuyuki City?
- The rules of the game have changed and the Masters have a chance to earn an extra command spell. All they have to do is find Caster and kill him.
- Kiritsugu and his daughter Ilyasviel stroll through the Einzbernwoods. As Saber watches the happy parent and child, she ponders why Kiritsugu has not spoken to her since she was summoned. And in Fuyuki City, the battle ground where the Holy Grail War will be fought, the seventh and final hero is summoned.
- Rider and Waver make a trip into town, and stop in a bookstore along the way. There, Waver reads a biography on Rider's life and learns why he aimed to conquer the far east. Meanwhile, Caster and Ryuunosuke return to their destroyed base. A conversation with his Master leads Caster to an epiphany, and with insanity in his heart, the mad magician begins casting a certain spell.
- Rider suddenly appears just as the battle with Lancer reaches its climax, much to Saber's consternation. Undeterred, Rider calls out to those observing the fight from the shadows... but it seems he's not the only heroic spirit drawn in by the battle.
- Battle rages throughout Einzbern Castle: Kayneth's magical mercury sphere versus Kiritsugu's formidable gun arsenal, Saber and Lancer join forces against Caster in the forest, and Irisviel detects a new enemy as she and Maiya make their escape.

- Rider, Saber, and Archer sit down for a drink and discuss what makes a King. The talk turns violent when Assassin interrupts.
- Hidden in a Fuyuki hotel, Kiritsugu tries plan his next move, but is still at a loss regarding Kirei's motives. Elsewhere, Iry and Saber have moved to a new hideout, but while Iry seems excited about their new location, Saber senses something is amiss...
- The battle against Caster continues as the Heroes have no way of stopping him. Tokiomi is trying to appeal to Archer to use his Noble Phantasm to obliterate the monster. Kiritsugu meanwhile, is planning to destroy the source of the monsters powers.
- Rider is shifting Caster into his Reality Marble to buy some time. He asks the other Heroes to come up with a plan to finish Caster off. A phone call from Kiritsugu gives them a fighting chance, but it comes down to Lancer making a difficult choice.
- With all the Heroes exhausted from their win against Caster, Saber has challenged Lancer to a final battle. A battle fought with honor and respect between two Knights. Kiritsugu doesn't care for honor or respect, he will win by any means necessary and tonight he shows how far he will go.
- With rules being broke and new players entering the tournament, the remaining Heroes and Masters are entering a new phase of the tournament. What Tokiomi does next will affect everyone.
- On an island in the Philippines, young Kiritsugu uncovers the horrible truth about his father's laboratory experiments.
